About the Author

Leah Brew is an Associate Professor in the Counseling Department at California State University, Fullerton. She has co-authored a workbook/video with Michael Altekruse called Building the Relationship: Common Errors in Helping (2005). She has presented at many conferences at the state, regional, na­tional, and international levels in the areas of diversity, supervision, stress reduction, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Leah has an interest in the areas of counseling theory, su­pervision, spirituality in counseling, and cultural diversity, specifically with biracial popu­lations. She has taken leadership roles with various regional and national organizations.
