Mike Van Hoozer is a gifted communicator and coach, an insightful author and consultant, and a devoted husband and father who has dedicated his life to making an impact in the lives of other people. Mike is a former Senior Executive with Accenture and has over 20 years of consulting experience. He has coached and consulted with every kind of organization including small startup businesses, Fortune 50 companies, churches and non-profit organizations, and professional and amateur athletes. In his work with clients, Mike focuses on helping individuals and organizations on the topics of leadership, human and organizational performance, teamwork, bridging the generational gap, success and significance, and work/life balance.

He has served as an adjunct faculty member at Baylor University teaching on the topics of organizational and human performance and leadership development and as a coach to executive MBA students at Rice University. Mike has coached and counseled over a 1000 people including business executives and entrepreneurs in the areas of executive leadership, business development, career transitions, and personal life strategies.

Mike works with amateur and professional athletes in the areas of sports psychology, peak sports performance, and career transitions. Since 2005 when they made their World Series run, he has served as a peak performance coach and Bible study leader for the Houston Astros working with players to help encourage and motivate them through the highs and lows of professional baseball and life. Mike also works with student and professional athletes across all sports to develop mental toughness and achieve a persistent, high performance mindset.

As an author, Mike has written 2 books and contributed to several other books for Pearson Publishing and Insight Publishing. He has just written a new book entitled Moments: Making Your Life Count For What Matters Most.

Mike is married and is the "Coach" of his own Van Hoozer basketball team with 5 boys.
