This book is provides a gentle introduction to the field of Multivariate analysis. The author provides a ground up introduction to each of the topic. Each chapter starts off with a relatively simple example to introduce the topic.
However, there are not many solved examples,which i feel is the basic shortcoming of this book. I would advice on obtaining a second book on this topic for additional examples and explanations.

O pai dos livros de analise multivariada,

Este livro traz um capítulo de introdução ( que pode-se dizer que é uma revisão )Depois nos outros capítulas explica de forma excelentes os métodos de análise multivariada, como por exemplo o método de componentes principais, regressão lógica, etc. Ainda no conteudo dos capítulos tem uma demonstração matemática também muito boa e se você quiser mais ele traz alguns programas em SAS e/ou SPSS e a interpretação da saída destes programas.
