Book Description

May 1, 2006 0831132922 978-0831132927
This unique reference was written with the intention that users can learn Solidworks on their own with little or no outside help. Unlike other books of its kind, it begins at a very basic level and ends at a fairly advanced level. Its perfect for anyone enrolled in Engineering and Technology programs, as well as professionals interested in learning Solidworks. It: provides step-by-step instructions along with numerous illustrations; commands are shown in bold for those who would rather not read every word of instruction; includes graphic illustration for each step for those who would rather learn visually; and contains small notes on most illustrations to further clarify instructions.

This review is from: Applied SolidWorks (Paperback)
This book may be useful if you've never used SW. There are many illustrations and the basics are covered well. I was hoping it would include intermediate tips and guidance, but it fell short. And, unfortunately the glossary is rather lean and therefore this book is not that good as a reference. I finished the book fairly quickly and will probably consider selling it.
