Linda Jenkins and Becky Goldsmith met at a quilter's quild in Tulsa, OK. in 1986 and have been stitching and designing together since. They started Piece O' Cake Designs, Inc. in 1994 after they both moved to different States! The wonderful world of technology has made the distance manageable and works wonderfully. Piece O' Cake Designs is a quilt pattern and book company specializing in fresh and original applique designs.

Once again, Linda Jenkins and Becky Goldsmith of Piece 'O Cake Designs have outdone themselves. Their new book is jam-packed with applique tips, tricks and techniques. As is evidenced by their quilts, these two have perfected the art of hand-applique, with their own unique style and flair. Their vinyl overlay technique for perfect placement of even the tiniest pieces is worth the price of the book. The book covers needleturn, the perfect applique stitch, stitching in all directions, fabric and color choice and so much more. It has clear photos and illustrations, along with precise instructions and patterns for a 4-block wallhanging. Anyone following their directions can achieve better results, faster and easier than ever before. I highly recommend this book for all applique enthusiasts looking to improve their technique.
