Andrew J. Dubrin's book, Applying Psychology, is a nice exercise in the practice of business psychology. It is a first step for those who plan to become Industrial Psychologist and most likely will be required reading in your undergraduate studies.
The hidden value of this book is that inside its pages lie a treasure chest of information that can enhance any career.

Applying Psychology 6th edition covers such important topics as how values and beliefs influence job behavior. It addresses issues of perception like how people interpret the world and why perceptual problems exist. It teaches about methods and the importance of communication in the work place and emphasizes the value of understanding yourself by helping the reader learn how to develop self-awareness.

This fine textbook is a must read for leaders in business and those who want to be. It explains the sources of motivation and offers various techniques in self-motivational techniques. It is filled with several workshops designed to reveal tendencies and personality traits that can help a leader be the best that they can be.

The book arived on time and I was greatful for the cost. All is well... I hope that all who odre from Amozone will be as happy as I am.

I would not spend more than 6 or 7 dollars for this older edition textbook. And I would only spend that much on it because it is required reading for my I/O psychology class. It was published in 2000 and is painfully outdated. Also, it is all B&W text with all the pictures and color in one little section in the middle.

I got the item very quickly and it was in much better condition than expected. It was a used book but it was in new condition. Very happy with my purchase.

This was a required text for a college class. Considering I am not that interested in psychology, I found this to be a decent text. I wouldn't have read it otherwise, but it seemed to flow well and was written in a way that made the topic less boring. The amazon.com price was the best around.

The book was a required textbook. I bought it through Amazon because it was cheaper than buying it through the college bookstore. The book and price I was happy with. The customer service I received when my book was delayed during shipping was horrible. I was disapointed in the manner customer service gives to customers.

The book was in the condition that was stated when I bought the book so I was very pleased

This is a great book. I am reading this book for a class, and I wasn't sure what to expect from it. But, I found I really enjoyed reading the material. Mr. DuBrin makes things sensable and practical for succeeding in the business world.
