This review is from: The Appomattox Saga Collection 3: Wall of Fire/Stars in Their Courses/Chariots in the Smoke/Witness in Heaven (The Appomattox Saga 7-10) (Hardcover)
I thoroughly enjoy Gilbert Morris' books. They are both interesting and exciting. I like the way he includes personal salvation experiences for his characters. I own all 40 volumes of the Winslow family by Gilbert Morris as will as all of Three of the Appomattox Saga Collection books 1-10. I started several of these books late at night an finished them in the wee hours of morning because they are compelling adventure books.

From the first Appomattox Saga through to the third, Giilbert Morris keeps us intriqued with the Rocklin family of Fichmond, VA. They also have relatives in the North, which gives a viewpoint from both sides of the Civil War. He weaves all of his stories in with a very factual account of the Civil War. Good reading.
