This review is from: Linktropy Mini2 WAN Emulator (Electronics)
While it's possible to duplicate some of this item's functionality in knockoff hardware, this is a terrific product if you need to do even occasional WAN testing.
I have used it to give a real-world preview of how both voice and data networks respond to varying network conditions, and it's helped me make good decisions on what is practical or not. The web interface is very simple. Not a whole pile of options, but enough to simulate various distance, congestion, and error conditions. The throughput graphs are easy to read and are accurate from what I have seen. One feature I really like is the three network interfaces, allowing me to be certain that my management traffic is not being measured as part of the test traffic and therefore affecting the outcome.
