Email, voicemail, blogging, FB updates, texting and tweets are ways to communicate. Appreciation Marketing is a way to bring the much needed live component and personal touch to business. We learned from the "greats", Tom Hopkins and Joe Girard that there is power in sending thank you notes/cards. And, as young children our parents told us to "always say thank you". We may have aged and the players may have changed, but the game remains the same. "Always say thank you".
The techniques that Tommy and Curtis share are simple to implement, yet brilliant! Business professionals and owners who apply these fundamentals will find they can have more business coming to them, rather than chasing business. I wish this book could be in the curriculum at every high school. Imagine how great our society and business world would be if everyone lived a life with the gratitude attitude! I appreciate Tommy and Curtis for sharing this gift of Appreciation Marketing. Linda Thomas Vice-President JD Marketing Associates

A Must Have for any Business Professional!,

When was the last time you went to your mailbox and got a card from someone you did business with, and it wasn't your birthday, wasn't a holiday, wasn't a special occasion - and it didn't have business cards, logos, or ask for referrals? It rarely happens! What if it did? Appreciation wins over self promotion every time, and this book will show you how to WOW your clients and prospects and show them that you truly do care. People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. We are all in the relationship building business, and this book will show you how to build and maintain a rolodex of clients that LOVE you and want to help you. It's all about appreciation and Tommy and Curtis have a homerun with this book!

I received and read "Appreciation Marketing" today - took about 1 1/2 hours. Deceptively simple, but rarely well-executed, this down-to-earth advice will set your business apart and above the competition. From ages 5 to 105, anyone can and everyone should implement an "Appreciation Marketing Strategy" in their personal and professional lives. I ordered 3 more copies this afternoon so I could give it to my partners before the weekend. Buy it, read it, APPLY IT and give it to everyone in your life whose success you care about. (I just ordered 50 more to get a start on doing just that!)

Appreciation Marketing is Excellent (and useful)!,

First, two disclosures: #1. Tommy Wyatt is a friend. #2. He became so after I read his "wonderful" book. I've written a number of my own (and others) books in and around Network Marketing over the past 20 years. The Greatest Networker in the World sold more than 1-million copies and I'm telling you this to add credibility to what I'm about to "claim" for Appreciation Marketing...
I believe this is THE most important new book for the next step in the evolution of marketing-- for almost ANY product or service market, especially Direct Sales Network Marketing. "Appreciation Marketing" is a new book, but NOT a new idea. Marketing masters have been using it since the first hunter gatherers bartered for things they wanted and somebody else had. Tommy & Curtis have laid out the principles & practicals of how to use appreciation to attract & create new customers, garner more referrals and have your exiting customers be an active "consumer advocacy" for you and what you offer. They give readers both understanding (which many authors seem to gloss over today as not important) of how and why Appreciation Marketing works so well and is so powerful, along with "do this, do that" real-world applications and examples. I do an exclusive weekend retreat for five people that costs $3500 per person. Each participant gets a copy of "Appreciation Marketing" and it's required study before they arrive. I believe that EVERY Network Marketer MUST read this book. And if you are in any other business or profession where relationships & friendships rule, then this book is a MUST for you, too. Bottom line: This book will help you acquire more customers & partners, build your business bigger and quicker and (what we all really want most) make more money. Powerful, practical, valuable & useful. This is an excellent book (and a quick an' easy read, too). Thanks to Tommy & Curtis for writing "Appreciation Marketing." I appreciate you!

DESTINED TO BE A BEST SELLER!,

I respect Tommy and Curtis as business owners. They live this
stuff and its shows in their results. 'Appreciation Marketing' takes traditional marketing to a new level. Appreciation Marketing is profound in its simplicity. Most educated marketers look for ways to promote themselves and get more business. Appreciation Marketing is exponentially more effective and a whole lot less expensive than traditional advertising and marketing. For example, let's say, as a thank you, you get a card in the mail offering you 10 to 20% off of your next oil change. Where does that card end up? For most of us, it ends up in the trash can. Now as an alternative, let's say you get a personal note in the mail from that same owner along with a photo of his staff simply thanking you for your business and letting you know how much he appreciates you. You'll save that note! Think of it this way. Anything commercialized typically ends up in the trash. Personal correspondence expressing gratitude and appreciation is cherished like a gift. Appreciation Marketing can elevate any business to new heights. Thanks Tommy and Curtis!

Sound Fundamentals to Marketing,
By Larry Underwood "Author - St Louis Cardinals ... (Scottsdale, AZ) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Appreciation Marketing - How to Achieve Greatness Through Gratitude (Paperback)
Showing genuine appreciation for the business you receive is sound advice; the fact that it needs to be put into a marketing book is a reflection of the predominantly rude behavior of society, in general. Go into any retail establishment in America, purchase their product or service; when you leave, how do you feel? Usually, the sullen behavior of the clerk says it all; you're nothing more than another sale, so you don't feel so special after all. Sad but true.
Tommy Wyatt & Curtis Lewsey think that's no way of doing business, and I agree. Without genuine appreciation for being a customer, where does the loyalty lie? The competition will take that business and run; they've read this book. I worked for a company who revolutionized the car rental industry, simply by taking donuts to its customers (dealerships, body shops, etc) as a way of saying "thanks". Boy, did that strategy work! Those service writers would start salivating the second they saw us marching in with those delicious pastries, and their loyalty was a slam dunk. We also gave great customer service. Basic stuff, but it builds unbelievable marketing results. My old company, Enterprise Rent-a-Car went on to become the largest and most profitable car rental company in the world. Simple marketing concepts like showing appreciation and being nice to people still have a significant impact on bottom line profits; in today's somewhat self-absorbed society, getting those things right will reap big rewards.
