Book Description

June 1, 1998
The coming of a new millennium has sparked a higher interest in the end times passages of the Bible. Most authors of end times passages choose to focus on events which might happen after a secret rapture of the saints. Butler chooses a different focus point. Instead of tying prophecy passages of the Old Testament with current events, Butler focuses on the prophecies as having been fulfilled by Jesus during his earthly ministry. Most of the New Testament end times passages are also examined from a view point that their fulfillment has already taken place, except for the bridegroom's return for his bride.

*Butler unites scripture and known history to conclude that the 70 weeks of Daniel have been fulfilled.

*Butler unites scripture and geography to conclude that the great temple of Ezekiel would be figurative instead of literal.

*Most of the Mount of Olives discourse would seem to point directly jto the destruction of Jerusalem and not current events of our day in Butler's view.

The Old Testament prophecies which have been fulfilled are evidence of God's hand working in history. This book will encourage that saints of God to stand fast, for the battle over eternity has already been won!
