Two stars for a pretty design,

When I saw this pretty pattern with a name -- April Cornell -- that I know and respect, I silenced the nagging voice at the back of my mind. "Yes," I assured it, "I know I've been skunked before when the Amazon description page failed (at least on the day of my purchase) to include dimensions, but this is APRIL CORNELL. Surely her people monitor these things!"
Alas, if April Cornell people are monitoring quality on production of these napkins, 15.5 inch square napkins are A-OK with them. They're not, with me. At a minimum, I want napkins to be 20 inches square, which is some 160 square inches more than the size of these little cloths. The print is lovely, but the napkin is too small for me to use for dinners and too large for cocktails. |
