That's right. This album is really just fun. You can tell they have fun making it. It's a fun concept, and the write up inside the CD booklet is especially fun. Lots of good fast new old (you know what i mean) style rock punk tracks. Kinda like the Hives meets Doris Day on speed. April March has a great voice well suited to the retro likings of The Makers, although i much prefer her solo albums like "Chrominance Decoder". Go check it out.

NOT A TRIBUTE, A Real Makers Album,

This review is from: April March Sings Along with the Makers (Audio CD)
All of the requisite Makers THUD is here. April March is well up to the task of singing along with The Makers. Think of this as a Makers retrospective with a wonderfully energetic guest singer (one of the few who can keep up with this band.) She and Mike Maker trade verses on a smash-up duet of "Bust Out".
