This product is not designed to run longer than 20 minutes at a time. Because of this, it really isn't designed for Ozonating air or oil. It also doesn't have a fan on it, so I personally wouldn't buy it for Air purification purposes, UNLESS you are trying to kill the odor in a very small space, like a car. It says in the user manual that oil needs to be Ozonated for hours in order to actually hold any ozone, and since this machine is only designed to run at 20 minute intervals, it really isn't practical for oil, although, technically it can be used for it.

This product is basically for purifying water. However, after reading opinions from users on this product, its very clear to me, that most of the negative reviews it received, were from people who were trying to use it for air and oil purification. Again, these people must have failed to actually read the user manual. Because all of the issues stated in the negative reviews, were addressed already inside the user manual.

This product works EXCELLENT for purifying water...if your looking for a machine to Ozonate your air, or oil.....keep shopping.

This is a great little ozonator. I am using larger ozonators in several commercial restaurants to sanitize produce and to eliminate mold, but wanted a smaller unit for my home. Easy to use and puts out sufficient levels for personal use. Couldn't find a better value anywhere - great job Amazon!

I bought this ozonator to help cure Lyme disease and it has been very helpful. Because of the O3 molecule, you have free oxygen immediately and this helps to oxygenate our cells but also the free atom is actually poisonous and kills all kinds of pathogens including funguses. Before buying it I talked with an MD who is an authority on oxygen healing at our local hospital and was told that for the purpose of drinking the ozonated water it will indeed kill pretty much everything including not only borrellia and candida but also bartonella (which is aerobic and typically grows in the presence of oxygen). It can also help to reduce herxing because it reacts with toxins and helps your body excrete them. She said ideally to pulse it-- take for 3-4 days and then stop for the same period and take antioxidants to normalize functionality. Don't keep taking it every day. It did do this reduce herx for me on a lower setting. On a higher setting drinking a full glass of water I did herx because it was killing too much at once, but it is a great combination with rife machines for curing hard to kill 'critters' and quicker and fewer side effects than antibiotics. I am thrilled with it!

I bought this product for health sake.
I like the idea of sanitizing utensils, de pesticide fruits, take out antibiotic and other chemical out of meats.
Since I bought ozonator I try to use it every time I have chance.
The fruits last longer for a fact!!!
The meats taste the same. But I know that after 15-20 minutes I azonated water its better for me and my children to consume.
After all its easy to use. Its clamed to be good for you. Its very affordable.
What else can I ask for?!

When it comes to cleaning you just can't beat nature. For too many years we have been using chemicals and those chemicals stink and adhere to everything and are all around not healthy in the slightest. Now we have ozonators?

After using steam to clean surfaces I was intrigued to hear about ozone producers so I purchased this appliance.

My first reaction?
Well, it looks no different than a fish aquarium bubbler. Then I turned the unit on and stuck around seeing that as the directions stated, you have a 10 second delay before the unit comes on. I would say this is for giving you time to leave and close the door so the room will be unattended during its cleansing. Everyone is different, there just may be people sensitive to the smell and like it says in the instructions- could cause a burning sensation in the nostrils or lungs of certain individuals.(like smoke, bleach, ammonia etc... but you don't hear any statements much about that)

I made the mistake of thinking the counter on the unit was minutes and not as the instructions stated numbered timings. so the number 2 is 5 minutes, not two minutes, but no bother, the gallon of water I treated was 5 minutes long instead of two minutes which didn't seem to hurt a thing.

The smell? Well, that is hard to describe until you experience it. Metallic, yeah a little bit, but not unpleasant, just odd. After a few hours after the treatment it starts to smell like after a rain storm, nice and clean. And when I treated the gallon of water I placed my hand over the jug and when the oxygenized molecules hit my hand I put it up to my face and smelled it- to me it almost smelled like very cold plastic, like if your taking a frozen water bottle out of the freezer in a very hot room, but add a tiny hint of citrus to that smell. This intrigued me so I went to my cats and let them smell my hand. Hey, what can I say, they have great little snouts on them, they will let you know if something is healthy or not in an instant- let them smell your hand lotion and if they run away be aware that there is something not good for you in it. Anyway, the cats were really sniffing away, they liked the ozone smell bunches! So I then treated the bedroom, moments after the treatment I opened the door the cats went in and hung around the room so the smell is not harmful I predict or so says the finicky cats!

This is our future apparatus for cleaning, we just can't go pouring bleach on all surfaces to remove molds and fungus. And we don't live near a volcano for that extra molecule of oxygen. So I wonder, how well do plants grow in rooms treated, and what does happen at the molecular level, are we awakening DNA that was once sleepy silent? Hmm, that leaves me with ever more reasons to use this product more. And I'm going to go read more articles on it and maybe find more answers than questions.

As with anything, Value is the key. I've been using this generator for over 3 months and it does perform well. It's perfect for ozonating water and I just keep the setting on number "10" , which is 20 minutes on, followed by 40 minutes off. I'll ozonate 10 glasses of water a day. At night I let the unit cycle for 20 minutes every hour into just 1 ounce of olive oil. That gives it 8 , 20 minute cycles of ozones and you wind up with lightly ozonated olive oil. If you use it right and don't expect it to do the same as $2,000 ozone generators, it does an excellent job. It is without a doubt a very good value. Considering I have been running this generator for 20 minutes every hour (followed by 40 mins rest) everyday for months now, it's pretty rugged for the price. Very good value.
When ozonating oilive oil the stone gets clogged. Watch for that or don't use the stone (just the hose).

Bought this on amazon and have to say the delivery and pre sales from the company were excellent. I ordered a 220 volt version for use here in India (the product was shipped to a US address and then brought by a friend to India)

Plugged it in a and started ozonating olive oil right away. Unfortunately as the olive oil thickened by the fourth day the machines ozone producing component packed up. I suspect the problem lies in the fact that the machine is unable to pump out the ozonated air fast enough due to the thickening olive oil which probably causes the air to 'backflow' and damage the unit.

I bought this unit specifically for olive oil since it has a repeat timer. Too bad the insides are not up to the job.

This thing is great. It's actually bigger than I anticipated...it's about the size of a really thick textbook. It puts out a lot of Ozone though and it totally kills any dormant smells you have in the room. My home definitely didn't smell horrible, but it would sometimes have that "stale" smell, combined with a natural smell you get from owning a puppy. The Ozone Generator cleaned all of it out of the air, leaving my home smelling totally fresh. This is also not something you'll have to run 24/7. I ran it for 20 minutes every hour (on an automatic setting) for about 3 days. That did the trick! I definitely recommend.

When I purchased this I thought that is very low price for an ozone generator with that high an output. When I turned it on, I realized they were giving very misleading ratings, as the output wasn't any where near 600 Mg per hour. It is a trick some Chinese manufactures use to sell their product. They advertise the output based on supplying it pure oxygen and hope you won't realize it is much lower when used in normal air. Sure enough, if you look on the back of the machine, the label says ozone output 600 mg/h 02 In. O2 is pure oxygen, however the air we breath is only about 20 % oxygen, so the actual output is only about about 120 mg per hour. Since the label says the rating is based on O2, it is technically accurate, but you don't see the label until after you purchase the machine. Plus there is no oxygen connection that would even allow you to hook up an oxygen tank to the generator, so there is now way to get the output they advertise. Disgusting..

Just a warning to potential buyers. This unit is not built to be operated continuously (according to the manual). I think that the product description should state this explicitly. There does not appear to be a way to control the output concentration, only the time-on and time-off.
