Great idea...works with empty beer bottles as well,

I liked the idea a lot when I saw it on TV but did not want to spend that much. I tried to use the same logic and used a clean empty beer bottle filled it with water and inverted it in my pot of daisies. It works the same and I feel great about recycling the glass bottles. If you are creative you can even paint them and its free. :)

Got this as a gift --- not my kind of thing to have artificial things sticking out of my plants but it has grown on me. I think it should come in different sizes because most of my plants would need 2. Right now, I have one in a med 6inch hanging pot in a north window and I have to fill it every other day --- although thus far I think my plant is enjoying it's new companion. Lastly, I think you should be able to pick your colors!!!

Aqua Globes not all they're said to be,

The Aqua Globes look nice, but they are hard to fill AND they do not water your plant slowly as it needs water like they are advertised to do.
I watered my plant thoroughly then put in the water globe as the directions specified and the globe emptied all it's water into the planter at once. So much for watering your plant gradually while you are away. It has emptied this way every time I refill it (which takes awhile) and put it back in the planter--glub, glub, glub the water is out of the globe all at once regardless of whether the plant needs water or not. I bought a different one at another store--very ugly, but it works!!

Awesome Product!,

I couldn't believe how well these things work! I'm always skeptical when I see things that look cool on t.v. But these genuinely work good. For direct sunlight two are required for one plant, but they are such a good deal that I don't mind. I'm really bad at being able to tell when a plant needs water, these resolved that. Plants drink all morning long, these don't dump water on them all at once, they're perfect.

Don't buy for Exotics,
This review is from: Aqua Globes Glass Plant Watering Bulbs - 2 Pack
They seem to work ok for regular plants but I used one for my orchid and it killed it because it over watered it. The leaves turned yellow and fell off. Don't believe the commercial when it says they are good for exotic plants.

I purchased these in a set and got 4 of them. They are a pain to fill but they do water the plant. The problem is the water is gone in a matter of hours to a day depending on which globe I filled. The reason is they are hand blown and the size of the tubes vary so some release faster than others. If you get a good one then you probably love them. Mine however release fairly quickly. They still do the trick but just pouring some water on the plant each day will do the same thing. Do not expect them to last a week as they say on TV.

aqua globes,

The Aqua Globes do a good job releasing water into the planter as needed.
due to the length of the feed tube a deep pot is needed to keep the globe stable

i tried these and they didn't work. i followed the directions-several times- to no avail. the water just pours out all at once even after i had just soaked the plant. so tried just sticking the globe into the dirt. i figured the end would get plugged with dirt but maybe the water would pass ever so slowly through the plug. it didn't. some of my friends have these and theirs don't work either.

Aqua Globes equal moldy plants,

These globes work too well. They kept my plants so consistently damp that after 10 days I had to remove them because mold was growing on the top of the soil around the spout.
