5.0 out of 5 stars Overall a really good listen.
This CD is just plain addictive. Whether you're looking for a hardcore song like "Cut You Up" which combines heavy riffs with amusing lyrics, or more power techno like Party Party Party or I I Like your Booty, this CD is just great to listen to whenver you need an ATHF fix.

3.0 out of 5 stars Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters ~Soundtrack~
I have to assume, since the movie isn't out yet, that this soundtrack is the perfect accompaniment for what is shaping up to be a hysterical film. Contributions from Mastodon, Unearth, Andrew W.K, and 9lb Hammer are amongst the few artists on the album that make the disc even more amusing. If you're already a fan of Aqua Teen, 9lb Hammers ""Carl's Theme"" is a must...

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Fans of ATHF, April 13, 2007
This review is from: Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film (Audio CD)
In a world where "Motion Picture Soundtrack" usually means nothing more than a compilation of often unrelated music, with only one or two tracks specifically recorded for the movie (and these tracks are usually featured during the closing credits), Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters Colon the Soundtrack is a breath of fresh air.
ALL the tracks are related to our favorite meatball, milkshake, and fry-man and were specifically recorded for the movie. Some songs, like mc chris's "I Want Candy" and Andrew WK's "Party Party Party," come from the show (and at this point I have yet to see the movie but I'm guessing they can be found there too), but it's still 100% worth your time IF you are an avid fan of ATHF. Nothing's better than hearing Master Shake and Meatwad both take a crack at singing! And 9 lb Hammer's "Carl's Theme" is a perfect description of our favorite loser next store.
No fan should be without this album!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great soundtrack that leaves a few questions..., April 19, 2007
This review is from: Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film (Audio CD)
First, I love this soundtrack and the movie, but I was a little disappointed by 2 things. First, if you're even considering buying this, I'm assuming that you're a big fan of the show and have been to the official movie site to view the trailer for the ATHF movie. On that site, there is a KILLER music video with a song by Master Shake that features a great guitar solo (played by Meatwad in the video). I thought this was part of the movie and would be on this soundtrack. Well, it's part of neither, which is disapointing. Second, Andrew W.K.'s "Party, Party, Party" is on this soundtrack, but was never used in the movie. Don't get me wrong, I've been a HUGE Andrew W.K. fan ever since I Get Wet and I love this song, but why include it here if it's not in the movie. Yes, the song was used in the show during season five, but it's just odd. It makes me hope that maybe the DVD will include scenes cut from the movie. As for the rest of the soundtrack, there's some great stuff here. The movie parody open is here (this was one of the funniest and most creative ways to kick off a movie I've seen in ages), there are some massive metal tracks by Unearth and 9Lb Hammer, plus you get a great remix of the show's theme song and Mc Chris's "I Want Candy", which is great to actually hear in it's entirety after hearing it in tiny doses on the Mc Pee-Pants episode found on Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Volume One.
The soundtrack is enhanced, and it includes a video for the ATHF open that is seen in the movie.
There is a little bit of filler here and there, mainly the unfunny skits, which brought my rating down, but overall it's a must buy for fans of the show, metal fans and Andrew W.K. fans that are hungry for some of his new music.

This is a nice companion to the ATHF Movie with some original character links. The best tracks are definately better for the visuals like the film's opening listed on the CD as track 2 & 3. The retro refreshment song "Groovy Time For A Movie Time" by the Soda Dog Refreshment Squad, juxaposes the "evil snacks" with their "Cut You Up With A Linoleum Knife" by Mastodon. OMG, make sure u get to the theater on time for that opening! The animation and subtitles revealing the awesome lyrics is ultimately essential for the punchline of the joke. Maybe an enhanced CD with video would have worked better.

Some tracks don't need a clear set up like Shake's NUDE LOVE, M.C. CHRIS' I WANT CANDY and CARL'S THEME. Also the character links (Meatwad, Carl, Shake, etc.) are okay set ups to some of the less connected tracks.

Still, it is Aqua Teen Hunger Force and currently under $10 bucks,so I say see the movie - then pick this up - probably in that order.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's Aqua Teen Hunger Force !, April 11, 2007
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film (Audio CD)
The Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie soundtrack has alot of Rock and Roll music in it a couple songs which are from the show like a remix of the Theme and I Want candy. There is also hidden tracks in the soundtrack which is preety cool. I would give this a 5 only if the songs were a little longer.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's Funny!, March 17, 2010
This review is from: Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film (Audio CD)
It's Funny and interesting. If you are a fan of the show then you know what you are getting into. The product arrived on time with out any hassles and in perfect condition. The music really takes you back to old episodes. Although I believe it is supposed to. If you are not familiar with Aqua Teen I highly recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Where is Phil Collins?, August 20, 2007

Where is Phil Collins? I know the licensing for In The Air Tonight was probably cost prohibitive, but the Phil Collins song was featured well in some key scenes in the film. That said, the album is great.

This soundtrack is awesome but short. You get to hear the great songs from this movie. It starts with master shake singing his great ballad and movies right along into some head smashing metal(Mastadon, Unearth. The soundtrack has a few tracks with the guys from the Hunger Force telling us what they think of the sondtrack. And of course you get meetwad at the end showing us he can rock out. I would recamend this to any die hard fan of the show and anyone who loved the movie. And to any one who loves metal!!!`

Who is doing the vocals on this track? Is that a King Diamond impression?

Really good stuff, but a little on the short side. If it cost any more than it does, it would be a bad thing, but I don't really care since it was pretty cheap.

The hidden tracks are awesome, though.
