Am a runner and bought these when a foot injury forced me to spend my workouts in the pool. I wear them in conjunction with the aqua jogger belt. They work much better than just wearing the belt alone providing much more resistance. Once I started using these, I noticed my heart rate went higher, increasing by about 15-20 bpm. I alternate between jogging with high knees for 5 minutes then switch to cross country skiing with straight legs for 5 minutes. Hoping they will keep me in shape enough until I can head back outside to run.Not sure how these would fit on someone with a larger foot , I am women's size 8.5, as they were VERY tight the first few times I wore them but have since felt better. Like the aqua jogger belt, they do loosen up once you hit the water, but like I said, the first few times they were uncomfortable! Not sure if they would fit a larger men's size.
