5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Art! Cool character
AQUA LEUNG is one of the most unique graphic novels to emerge from Image Comics in recent years. Fans of fantasy, monsters and intriguing visual storytelling will find AQUA LEUNG to be an exceptionally imaginative work, driven largely by the off-beat and stylish artwork. 1.0 out of 5 stars BLATANT ART JACKING
Though the story is passable (albeit poorly paced), I strongly suggest no one funds this Carlos Mencia-level of theft. Aqua Leung's art style is almost a direct theft of Bryan Lee O'Malley's "Scott Pilgrim" series; which came out 4 years prior to Aqua. I'd point out some specific iterations, but just Google an image of both; it's flagrant. So buy this if you love to fund...

Paul Maybury is an obvious up and coming talent in the comic industry, and his strengths as an artist help to separate AQUA LEUNG from the pack. The line work is spontaneous and energetic, and the coloring perfectly compliments the visuals from panel to panel. As a fan of all things fantastic, I found the storytelling within AQUA LEUNG's to be well worth the cover price. The overall package is a very sound and entertaining, and I highly recommend giving this book a try!

The art is great and the story a page turner. I was able to get through it in one sitting. Since then I have re-read it a few more times.
I would recommend it to fans of graphic novels.

I've just like two say two thumbs up for this comics. The classical contemporary graphic novel, nope, i would like to stick on 'comics'. it's fun, it's serious, it's dark but colorful, it is Aqua Leung. Nothing else matter.

Also buy this if you hate artists...and children.
