5.0 out of 5 stars Mlost Comfortable Swimming Mask
I've been swimming for over five years on a daily basis in the San Marcos River in Texas against the current or in a indoor pool when the weather or river conditions are now suitable to swim. I have been using the aquasphere mask for at least 3 years. I believe it to be the best mask for non competitive swimming. Some swimmers may feel it's too big and will cause too much...

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT for Asian faces
I ordered this mask after reading the review that this was specially made for an Asian nose. I live in Cyprus so I had to make an extra arrangement to receive here. I just opened and tried it on...what a disappointment. There is a big gap between my nose and mask, there is no way it will fit to my nose, one second after pushing hard to my nose, it will pop...

This review is from: Aqua Sphere Seal Swim Mask (Misc.)
I've been swimming for over five years on a daily basis in the San Marcos River in Texas against the current or in a indoor pool when the weather or river conditions are now suitable to swim. I have been using the aquasphere mask for at least 3 years. I believe it to be the best mask for non competitive swimming. Some swimmers may feel it's too big and will cause too much drag when swimming competively. The comfort is like no other mask out there. The seal is superb to most masks on the market. When you are swimming against a strong current, you realize how well they work and the field of vision for swimming, snorkling, or shallow sucba diving is very nice. I recommend these for daily swimming and recreation. Once you try them you will probably stay with them.

5.0 out of 5 stars This mask is great!, November 10, 2008
This review is from: Aqua Sphere Seal Swim Mask (Sports)
I have tried different goggles and masks. I love the Seal Mask. It is very comfortable, and seals well! It is great to swim in and have a wider view.
Be aware that different people have different sized and shaped faces. Just because this mask fits me perfectly, doesn't mean it will fit you well. That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the mask! It just means THIS mask doesn't fit YOU. Aqua Sphere also makes a Seal Mask XP which fits differently than this mask. So if THIS mask doesn't fit you, maybe try the XP. If neither mask fits you well, try another mask, and keep trying different masks until you find one that fits you.
To be sure a swim mask fits you properly, you should be able to press it into position onto your face, and have it stay there by suction (without the straps) for a bit. If it doesn't stay there, then that particular model of swim mask doesn't fit YOU. That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the mask! Try a different mask.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best goggles, May 12, 2007

We discovered these goggles by accident in a store last summer and have loved them ever since. My 7 year old son really likes the comfort and seal. I myself wear them as an adult because I can really see (!!) under water and they are comfortable to wear...They are lighyears ahead from the small eye goggles people usually wear. They are great in the sea or in a pool. They come in cool colors so every member of family can easily spot their own. The strap is also easy to adjust.

I am an Ironman level Triathlete and have purchased several of these masks. I like the tint and I like the feel of the mask. I don't know if they have recently changed the formulation but my last pair doesn't seal around my face very well and leaks, and a friend of mine can't use his at all due to leakage. I suggest you get the mask, test it for fit by putting it on your face adn breathing in through your nose. If it seals to your face keep it, otherwise return it. I still love the product and will continue to use them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Aqua Sphere Seal Swim Mask, January 13, 2009

This is a wonderful swimming mask - especially for the ocean. The tinted lenses really help if your eyes are sensitive to bright light. They need to rinsed off after swimming and protect the lenses from scratching. An excellent product

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Swim Mask, September 6, 2008
After three years of constant use, my Aqua Sphere Seal Swim Mask began loosening at the edges, and I knew I MUST have another. No other brand would do. I swim underwater, and it drives me bonkers to have a mask leak. This is the best mask I have tried for underwater swimming. I hope they never stop making this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best way to keep out the water, December 1, 2008

I swim every day. I've tried just about every goggle out there. The only one that keeps the water out completely is the Aqua Sphere.

4.0 out of 5 stars excellent visibility and comfort, January 31, 2007
This review is from: Aqua Sphere Seal Swim Mask (Sports)
I got these and another pair of plain goggles, these are much better. Much more comfortable and the anti-fog coating works great. Sure you may look a little goofy, but it is worth it to not have your eyes being sucked out! Kind of like a baby scuba mask, and streamlined. Would buy again or as gift.

4.0 out of 5 stars When it works, it's great, September 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased this mask to avoid the "raccoon eyes" that goggles gave me. When you get a good seal with this mask, it works great. But I suspect that the fit is a bit trickier because the shape of your face (and the top part of the bridge of your nose) is more involved than with goggles. Sometimes it leaks if I haven't gotten it positioned perfectly. It does leave a mark on your face but it disappears much faster than impressions left in that sensitive eye area. I'm glad I bought it.

I just couldn't find any goggles that wouldn't leak and/or leave a huge indent in my face for hourse after wearing...so, got these. I use for training and sprint-triathlons and so far, so good. I've used them for about 5 hours of swimming so far, and rinse them off afterwards. Starting to lose some of the seal...thus, 4 stars instead of 5.
