Decent product. Works great under very dark conditions.,

The lights aren't as visible under dim lighted conditions. It's great when it's really dark. Would recommend using at least two or three for a medium to large size pool. When not in the pool, my kids play with this in their room with the lights off. It makes colorful images on the wall. Almost like being in a dance club wilth all the lights. This is alternate fun use of this product.

These are wonderful....if you buy a bunch of them. I bought one and it didn't cover the whole pool like it says it does. So I went back and bought 3 more. It looks really neat now but there are 4 of these things floating around in a 10foot round pool.

Fun item but could be improved,
This review is from: AquaGlow 3555 Underwater Light Show (Lawn & Patio)
I bought this for my parents to use in their hot tub. The light show wasn't anything close to how it is depicted in the ad. It was still fun. Some of the various settings cycle quickly through the different colors like a strobe light. It gave all of us headaches within seconds. The part of the device that is floating out of the water is transparent. This distracts you from the underwater light show. It is this feature that makes the strobe light setting unbearable. The light coming from the top is blinding. Now for the positive: If this is being used in a hot tub, the light provided from the AquaGlow is more muted than the light installed in the hot tub. It makes for a more relaxing environment. Again, don't expect the underwater show to look anything like the picture but with that in mind, I'd say it is worth it. My family puts it on every time we go in.

I read all the other reviews, and all I can say is that this product is just plain and simple JUNK! I have a pool of 18x36 feet, and when you place this floater in it, nothing happens at all! The depth of a normal pool prevents this device from projecting the colors to the ground. Don't get fooled by this picture in the advertisement. It is completely misleading! In the shallow end, where the depth is about 2 feet, you could make out some dingy, tiny circles, and over a surface of maybe ONE square foot!!! What a disappointment!20 bucks to waste is maybe not the end of the world, but to me, it is, because I hate being "taken". So beware! Keep your money for something useful!

This product does not live up to the claims nor the picture. It does not glow the way they claim it does. I have an above ground pool and the water stays clear and the AquaGlow can barely be seen on the bottom of the pool. It shines great out of water though. I replace the batteries several time thinking that would help, it didn't. Do not buy this product. You'll be disappointed !!

I saw the pictures, read the reviews and couldn't wait to see the light in action. Disappointment with a capital "D"! The range of the projected lights was 1.5' in diameter - maybe 2', which is fine for your average kiddie pool but for a large, adult-sized pool - plan on buying 15-20 of these to get the effect shown in the pictures. In my opinion this product was grossly misrepresented!!

HORRIBLE!,
This review is from: AquaGlow 3555 Underwater Light Show (Lawn & Patio)
Okay, so I bought this product thinking "oh my god this will be great" and when it arrived I was extremely excited to try it out. Setting it up was easy and I quickly had it in the water. The lights were not as dark and vibrant as the pictures online depicted, in fact, I am guessing that to get that type of effect you would need about six of these lights! The first week I used this product it was okay. The lights worked and was somewhat pretty in the small area it worked of the pool and then after a week or so it broke! The water had seeped into the battery compartment. I tried to dry out and clean up but I could never get this product to work again. Considering I purchased the biggest type of this light, paying fifty dollars, this product was so not worth it! I would not recommend this product to others.

Picture does not look anything like shown. We only have a 16 foot pool andwould probably need at least four more to look even close to picture. Very disappointed.

I was purchasing hot tub chemicals and found this in the section called "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought". For the small price I thought it might be a fun thing for the kids (8 & 11) to use in the hot tub. We used it last night for the first time and it was terrific. The design is very simple and well done. There are four LED bulbs (2 red, 1 blue, 1 green) and it has about 30 magnifiers/focusers built into the clear housing so the LED's are focused and shine a long distance. They look neat at the bottom of the hot tub.In the steam from the hot tub we also turned it over and let it float upside down to shine the lights up toward the sky. The many light beams shining up through the steam made for a cool effect, sort of like laser beams. We also hand held the unit and shown the multiple light beams down onto the snow outside the tub and the kids stepped on the lights like they were playing a game of Twister! There are many different flashing light patterns to choose from, some crazy fast and others slow. The top of the housing is lime green, not clear like those shown in the photo. My only concern with longevity is getting water into the housing where the LED's and batteries are (3 AA, included). I inspected it after leaving the hot tub and there was no water in the housing. Bottom line is that with the family fun we had during the first use, I think we already got our money's worth!

I bought 4 of these & I could have still used another 10. In order to achieve to look in the ad, be prepared to fill the pool with tons of these floating lights. Also make sure filter is off when floating these lights-they get sucked in. Hope this helpful!
