4.0 out of 5 stars Neat
Works as described and knowing that it had a remote was nice but when it arrived there is no remote included. Says nothing about a remote on the box, instructions, etc. No I didn't throw it out by accident!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not as nice as it looks
I purchased this for a pool party. It is not as nice as I thought it would be. The fountain goes up and down, mostly down on it's own. It spins to the edge of the pool(I know they say it can be thethered, however that creates a problem because it spins)It goes thru cycles on it's own and completely stops sometimes and then picks back up.Also the colors & lights don't show...

1.0 out of 5 stars so disappointed, July 13, 2009

i was sooo excited to purchase this item. we put it in the pool and immediately had problems with the remote control. then after a day or so, water got inside the compartment and turned brownish. the lights turned on by themselves and wouldn't shut off or change and the fountain wouldn't work at all. we changed out the batteries but still nothing. i returned it and am waiting for a new one. yesterday i went to a pool supply store and asked if they had the same model and they said they had too many problems with it so stopped selling it. they explained the exact problems we were having with it. they said their customers would return them after a couple of days. they also said they sold it last year with no problems at all but this year was a nightmare.

1.0 out of 5 stars Aquaglow underwater light show, March 11, 2009

Not great. The remote does not work well and the light is not at all as pronounced as I had hoped, used one time and did not use again, since the only way of stopping was by removing the batteries, since the remote works 1 out of 10

1.0 out of 5 stars What a disappointment, December 31, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: AquaGlow 3565 Underwater Light Show and Fountain (Lawn & Patio)
I was so excited when I first came across this product. But it was such a disappointment that eventhough I hate ever leaving bad reviews, I had to warn buyers of this product. To enumerate:
There is no light show. Sure you have some lights but the lights do not really do anything for the product. When the remote control DOES work (about 10% of the time), the fountain of water barely comes up and then it waxes and wanes in a most annoying way. It always floats over to the edge of the pool. Putting in the battery and trying to screw the cover down without "overrotating it" like it says in the manual was a pain; and the enclosure allows water to get up into it which destroys the battery AND the motor.
I don't know how people can actually make such an inferior product and sell it to people.
Buy at your own risk.

2.0 out of 5 stars Faulty Product, October 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

Product was a waste of money. The remote control would not cut off the fountain. Had to remove it from pool and take batteries out to shut off. Also didn't want to float in pool kept going toward the return. Colors were pretty but the water doesn't shoot up very high. Returned product.

I bought this for our pool. I tried it once and the bottom of it broke after the first time leaving all the batteries exposed to the water and you could not close it anymore.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bargins and Buyouts Service Problem, December 31, 2010

I recieved the AquaGlow Underwater Light Show and Foutain from Bargins and Buyouts over 1 week ago. The light show works, but the fountain does not work. I have e-mailed Bargins and Buyouts twice asking for a return and replacement. I have yet to get a response. I tried calling them several times and the phone line was constantly busy. I finally did get through to a recorded voice mail service and left my information. I have yet to get a response.

I have always had good luck with products from Amazon. Rest assured, I will never again order something that comes from Bargins and Buyouts. The response to an issue is deplorable.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheaply made - breaks easily, July 24, 2010

I got this as a Christmas present. We put it in the pool to see what it looked like, took it out and stored it. When it got warm in the spring, we took it out to use it again and the pump didn't work. There is a MAJOR design flaw - the pump device depends on one little piece of plastic, which had totally disintegrated. It took a couple of months to get the manufacturer to look at it. They said, "too bad - so sad - 90 day warranty."
