Tells the air temperature and pool water temperature. It's awesome to just look on the remote and not walk over to the pool. Definitely makes me lazy, but I love the convenience.

Just got it and it works great. Can have it floating in my spa and know the temperature from inside my house. This is great in the winter because if the heater were to go and I didn't check the spa for a few days I could end up ruining the spa. I would definitley recommend giving this a try!
If you are having trouble getting the receiver to get the signal. Make sure you read the instructions about pairing and changing channels.
Lastly I will say it doesn't seem the most durable thing. But for $40 what can you expect.

I am on my second device, I want a wireless therometer for my spa that can transmit farther than 20' and read temperature within at least 1 deg. This on it got a poor range and is 5 deg of in temperature. Tried to contact the manufacture by their web site but it has problems, bad sign. Poor transmission
Does not transmit signal very far and is still hard to read.
I was very disappointed in the fact this product wouldn't transmit even as far as 60 feet into my house

Don't buy this item.

good idea bad execution
It floats and mainly just registers surface temperature. It needs to be tied to something to prevent being sucked into the skimmer. Read more
