I replaced my breaking down Aquascapes Pro pump with the AquaSurge. What a HUGE difference in cost and flow of pump and water!

For those of you who live in areas (like CA) that are charged by the type of electrical usage, known as tiers, this will drop you down one or two tiers. I was in tier 5 with this pump (I also have a hot tub on electric), now I am well in the bottom of the tier 4 range. This pump is saving me approx. $130/month in electricity every month vs. my old Pro pump. That goes well above and beyond what they document as far as savings.

Longer warranty, nice falls, low electricity cost. You will love it!

Purchased this pump to replace an old Aquascape 3500. Needed an adapter, but that was easy to find at a local pond supply store. The pump was a breeze to install, appears to be well-built and works great. Got a great price on amazon... about $100 less than in the store.

I have been running my aquasurge 3000 for almost a week now. It is very quiet. You can't hear it at all over the stream/waterfall. It pumps water 40 feet along my return hose with an elevation gain of almost 6 feet. The volume of water it moves is perfect for my stream, providing a pleasant sounding waterfall. I definitely recommend this product!

This pump is perfect. It is so quiet, all we hear is the water running over the falls. It is very efficient using very little electricity. We are very happy with this pump.

I contacted TJB-INC about 3month ago about this problem and have not heard back from them. My last unit lasted over 3 years.
