The only difference between this refill kit and the regular kit is this doesn't include the little booklet about pool care, but you probably know why you're testing your pool already right ? So who needs it. This does include the color comparison chart which you do need.

The one parameter the "Select" strips check that others don't is hardness which you need to keep balanced if your water contacts metal parts, such as copper heater cores, to keep them from corroding. Hardness is different than but related to pH and alkalinity.

I used these in addition to my digital pool chemical reader for an overall chemical read as well as confirmation of the digital result. The accuracy between the two was close.

This is much faster and more comprehensive than using my old test kit with test tubes and dropper bottles. I find myself testing more often and thus keeping better track of my pool chemistry.

These are the refills to what I have now. Love this product. They read clearly. Would recommend them to any one.

After being frustrated with Leslie's and Pinch-A-Penny ALWAYS getting it wrong, I purchased these strips. They are very accurate and help me to keep my pool balanced with far less chemicals than what the afore mentioned companies "suggested"...hmmm, what do you think that means. So, goodbye scammers and thieves, I found something far better than your misleadings!!!

I love these strips. They're pretty accurate, and they show me all the stuff I need to know on a daily basis about my pool. True, free and total chlorine and PH are the things you normally should test daily, but I like also having the cyanuric acid, hardness, and alkalinity pads there on a daily basis so that I can get an early warning that something might be moving out of balance (or back into balance as I treat the pool.)

It might seem more expensive than the generic red and yellow Kmart water tester, of the 3 or 5 strip testers, but it was SO worth it. We are NOT going back to primitive. It helped us figure out exactly what the pool needed, and it got clear after we balanced all the chemicals. Some things are just needed to get it right. This was one of them.

I like these strips. Easy to use, and not that expensive. They seems to work as they should. I helps me determine what I need to do to keep my pool balanced.

product was received in a timely fashion and was as described. it was very easy to use and we were happy with it.

Ordered these strips through Amazon because I was hoping to save a few bucks. Who knows if i did? Like all strips, they are easy to use. Since it is a "refill" package, the chart is loose and not affixed to the bottle, which will be a pain if I loose it. Don't know if the're accurate, I have nothing to compare them to. I would not hesitate to reorder this product again when these run out.
