Just ordered this set after my daughter finished the Elmo one. The problem is when they get too wet, over time, the colors stay after it dries, taking the fun out of recoloring it. My daughter really loves it though, and I love how easy and mess free it is.

I purchased this product along with the other company's product. My intial impression was the same as the that of the other reviewer. However, after my daughter used both of them, I think that this will probably be the more durable product. Yes, the pages are thinner, and therefore less sturdy if you're not using a hard surface, but this also means that they dry considerably faster. The other company's product seems more sturdy initially, but the thick board pages can get soggy quickly if your child likes to color with a lot of water; it takes much longer to dry and the pages get ruined more quickly. Overall, I think that we'll be purchasing more of the aquadoodle pads. Great idea!! First product we've found to keep our daughter busy in a restaurant!! We actually finished a meal!

I purchased this product to replace another company's version of aqua doodle but found the Aqua Doodle version to be flimsy. It folds and bends easily, making it difficult to use at times. I don't expect it will hold up as long as others. It does keep my daughter busy and she loves the Dora pictures. But I wouldn't purchase this item again because of the flexible pages and durability issue.
