Our children received the Aquadoodle Wall Runner as a holiday gift and we were so excited to get going on it. We already owned the regular Aquadoodle and thought that the wall runner was a fantastic idea. The normal Aquadoodle required us to put it away after each use so the wall runner was a space saving and convenient way for our kids to practice drawing and writing. We think we'll get use out of it, but it could have been so much better, especially for the money.

The runner comes with a miniature version of the water pen even though the Amazon.com CONTENTS list says large pen. It also comes with reusable putty to stick the runner to the wall. We let our kids use it right away but they got bored with it in 5 minutes mainly because it dried much too quickly. Because the material is basically a type of thin paper, it dried maybe 5 times as fast as the regular mat. They got tired of it drying almost as soon as they were done drawing. As I mentioned, the material is basically paper and not the same material as the original mat which is more like fabric. The runner is so thin, I'm afraid our younger child will end up ripping it in pieces. Durability is highly questionable. Also, our younger child quickly figured out how to remove the putty, which is obviously a choking hazard. We had to toss all the putty and replace it with double-sided tape.

Better material on the runner would have made it a fantastic educational toy. I cannot really recommend it as is, especially at the asking price. Just stick to the original mat.

My girls have had this toy for over a year, and I loved it so much i decided to buy another for a friend. It looks like paper, but it is more durable. My children loved their aqua doodle pad, but this was more fun because it is pink and is princess themed. My only issue was the gum-like sticky substance that hangs the product on the wall. It is not the best.

My daughter loved this.. which she is very into drawing! Ive used this in the tub and on the wall in her room! It works great and i teach her things as we draw.. like letters and shapes and she tries as well! Im very glad i bought this.

This has been a surprising hit in our flat. Right now it's living on our living/dining room wall (not where I originally planned). I love that the 'marker' is so safe. With four kids in the house, we've always had at least one that was in the 'drawing on the wall' stage. This has really helped with that for our last child. She loves it, as do her older brothers. It's a little pricey, in my opinion, but I'm glad I bought it.

Very good product and would recommend it highly. My only suggestion would be to make an additional pen available for sale or included.

We got this and a traveling aquadoodle for our girls this past Christmas. Twins-3 and a 2 year old. The amazing pink doodle on the wall mat...not-so-amazing. This product is made of a non-durable paper and is fixed to the wall with sticky-tac. The twins had it shredded in a matter of days. Honestly, if I hadn't bought it at Toys R Us...where we have the worst luck with returning items and if I would have fully inspected the product before opening it. Oy! The mat and the travel doodles are amazing though!!! :o)

When I pulled the Aquadoodle wall runner out of the box I was disappointed...It was smaller than I thought it would be, but I thought what the heck we will give it a try. We cleared a space in the playroom and set it up on the wall. The kids loved it and played with it over and over again, drawing - watching the images disappearing and doing it all over again.
