Great Toothpaste, Horrible Dispenser, July 4, 2010
This review is from: Aquafresh Iso-Active Toothgel, Fluoride, Whitening Deep Impact, Foaming Gel, 4.3 oz. (Health and Beauty)
So I bought this toothpaste a while back because I got a coupon when it was first released. I don't really have "a" toothpaste, you know, something I buy every time and that I love, so I was more than willing to try this. I like it. The taste is pretty good and it makes my teeth and my mouth feel really clean and fresh after I'm done using it so I really feel like it does the job. I disagree with people who say it has a shaving cream consistency, but then, I've never eaten shaving cream. It does foam, so a little goes a long way, and if you use too much it can be overwhelming. Overall, though, I thought the toothpaste was pretty good.
The dispenser though, was really terrible. The toothpaste constantly leaked and foamed out around the top so that I feel like 1/3 of the toothpaste was lost instead of used. It makes things horribly messy if you use the lid (sometimes I'd open it and a pile of green goop would fall on the bathroom counter) and if you don't use the lid you get a thick green crust that has to be removed every few days. I liked the toothpaste, but it's a little more expensive than some of the others and it just isn't worth all that waste. I won't be buying this product again. I'd rather have a tube that I know won't leak all over the place.

Foam Party for Your Mouth, December 30, 2009
This review is from: Aquafresh Iso-Active Toothgel, Fluoride, Whitening Deep Impact, Foaming Gel, 4.3 oz. (Health and Beauty)
For the last few months I have been searching for a toothpaste that will leave my teeth feeling clean all day. I love the feeling of running my tongue along my teeth and feeling how slick my teeth feel.
I have tried Arm & Hammer Complete Care Fluoride Extra Whitening Toothpaste with Baking Soda & Peroxide, Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste and Colgate MaxFresh Fluoride Toothpaste Breath Strips Whitening Clean Mint. All three toothpaste brands cleaned my teeth, but the feeling only lasted a few hours.
I purchased Aquafresh Flouride Toothgel - Deep Impact on my next trip to Target. When I used it that night I was amazed. I could not believe all the foam the pea-sized amount of gel made. When I did the tongue test, my teeth were very slick. I was happy. The next day I woke up with clean, slick feeling teeth.
Just use a pea-sized amount or your mouth will overflow with foam!
Overall, I am very pleased with Aquafresh Flouride Toothgel - Deep Impact. My main complaint is the gel seems to always stick to the lid of the can and the pump itself needs to be wiped down after every use. Minor complaints, but I will purchase Aquafresh Flouride Toothgel - Deep Impact again.

Who designed the bottle? Anybody?, July 5, 2010
This review is from: Aquafresh Iso-Active Toothgel, Fluoride, Whitening Deep Impact, Foaming Gel, 4.3 oz. (Health and Beauty)
Similar to some other reviews, the toothpaste itself is fine. Gets the job done, no complaints here. But the dispenser it comes in is ridiculous. The toothpaste is constantly oozing out the end. So that means you have the following options:
1. Clean off the nozzle after every use. Oh wait, actually you'd have to clean it *before* every use, because it seems to ooze out continuously. Even if you clean it after you're done, it will still ooze out by the next time you reach for it.
2. Try to ignore the nastiness and dispense the toothpaste around it. This is a little tricky, and with a bit of luck, maybe the caked-on goo will fall off itself. Most of the time though you just get a hunk of old nasty toothpaste in your toothbrush and subsequently your mouth, which is gross.
Basically, the dispenser is a deal-breaker. Apparently the Aquafresh people didn't actually try their product at all before releasing it, because it's just ridiculous how gross this works out to be.
