I love this cd. If you are looking to get a lighthearted, upbeat girlie bubble gum rock CD, then you are in luck. If you like the movie, then the soundtrack is a good investment. I use the songs for silly dance parties with my roommates.

This message is for the reviewer called - Obo "*GHEEH*" - When an artists remakes another artists song, it is not called a rip off, it's called a remake. It's not like Sara Paxton stole "Connected" from RBD or Emma Roberts stole "Island in the Sun" from Weezer. All songs were taken very legally I'm sure. It happens all the time in the music industry.

Connected~Sara Paxton=100!! This is probably the #1 song on the CD. Also Island in the Sun~Emma Roberts=#1 too!! They are both great actresses and singers. I just wish Jojo would have had a song on the CD. Anyhow, Wonderful song choices and awesome singers!

I LOVE this movie, and I LOVE the songs in this movie!!! I expecially love the song "Connected". It make me cry every time I hear it!!! When I saw this movie at the theater, when they played this song in the credits, I BAWLED my eyes out. I LOVE THIS MOVIE AND IT SONGS SOO MUCH!!! Please get this soundtrack. It is SOO good!!!

This is going to sound strange, even crazy, but my son passed away suddenly two months ago. He came to me in a dream and asked me to buy this soundtrack for his five-year-old daughter. It was two in the morning when I woke up. I jumped out of bed and dashed to my computer. I had never heard of this movie or the soundtrack, yet there it was. I ordered two copies, I wanted to listen to it before I sent it to her. When I heard the song, 'Connected', I started to cry. I knew that was the song he wanted her to hear. She loves the soundtrack. In fact, I love it too. Who says there is no afterlife? Mixed Nuts

This movie was soo cute and wonderful, that I am dying to see it again. The soundtrack has the same effect. With some new artist on the CD it gives a flavor of new and old. For the songs that have been re-done like Island in the Sun sung by Emma Roberts, I think she did a great job. In the industry today re-singing the original is NOT bad, for everyone who thinks it is. They did a great job of complieing the cd. Buy this soundtrack and even better SEE THE MOVIE!!

Does the soundtrack contain the instrumental song/melody also? I forget what part in the movie it is but it quite good...

This novel is a great book for middle school girls. The fun storyline involves a mermaid found by two girls and the friendship that develops.

Whoever said the song 'Connected' was a remake of RBD's Tenetre Y Querete, you so need a reality check! Hello? Earth to that person! Connected is so not a copy of RBD!Connected is the best song on this album! I mean if you're that type of person who hates bubblegum, stay away from this! But if not, you should really give this CD a try. I would reccomend Connected, Can't Behave and Island in the Sun! Watch the movie first. It's more meaningful that way. 'Cos at first I didn't like Island in the Sun but after I watched the movie, WOW! I fell in love with that song. I love this album! Check out the movie too!
