5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect.
Customer Video Review     Length:: 0:30 Mins
This was shot in July 2008, at Carlsbad, California. I was using a Flip Ultra and the Aquapac case. The only problem was that the sound got muffled when I hit a wave because I would squeeze the bag. Besides that, it is awesome. See end of video for a clip of it in my sink...

3.0 out of 5 stars OK for Canon SD1000
Bought this to protect our Canon SD1000 on a family vacation at the beach. Gave us a little peace of mind that sand & water wouldn't get into the delicate camera bits, and we definitely took pics that we wouldn't have, had we not had the bag. Of the 30 or so pics we took with the camera in the bag, only 3 didn't turn out because of the bag (probably due to not...

Bought this to protect our Canon SD1000 on a family vacation at the beach. Gave us a little peace of mind that sand & water wouldn't get into the delicate camera bits, and we definitely took pics that we wouldn't have, had we not had the bag. Of the 30 or so pics we took with the camera in the bag, only 3 didn't turn out because of the bag (probably due to not noticing that the lens wasn't flat against the bag.)

The Canon SD1000 is a tight fit. Height & length are fine, but width is a problem when you are trying to turn the camera on. You have to make sure you're applying pressure to the top & bottom of the bag to force it as wide as possible before you turn the camera on, or the camera will err when the lens hits the front surface of the bag. Takes some getting used to. The bag is stiff & the camera buttons on top are hard to work through the blue "flexible surface"; this seemed to get a little better the more we used the bag. Would be much easier if the top of the bag was pleated, presenting a flat surface to the top of the camera, rather than the top being a fold. Usability no doubt varies greatly depending on what model camera you have. The neck lanyard was much appreciated when taking shots in the water, so you can have your hands free when you need to.

4.0 out of 5 stars Aquapac Mini 404 Underwater Camera Case Review, January 9, 2009
This review is from: Aquapac Mini Waterproof Camera Case (Electronics)
This is the first underwater camera case that I have used. But it works amazingly well! I have only put the Flip Video Mino in it but the videos taken from inside the case and outside are superb! They look exactly alike!
I would recommend this product!! :)

4.0 out of 5 stars AquaPac Keeps it Dry, July 21, 2009

I bought this and 2 others so we could use our cannon powershot and flip vidoe camera in Mexico. It worked great. I put our powershot in the pack and gingerly took it out in the ocean and after a few minutes realized it was keep the camera completely dry. It also takes very clear pictures through the plastic. On almost all the pictures you couldn't even tell it was in the bag! The only draw back I have is that sometimes when the lens would extend from the camera body when you would turn the camera on it would push up agains the plastic of the bag and cause the camera to error because it couldn't fully extend. I quickly learned that if you made sure the camera wasn't all the way at to the side of the bag it would funtion just fine. It was nice, cost effective, way to take pictures in a wet environment. We even pushed the bag underwater and took a some pictures!

4.0 out of 5 stars worked well, May 7, 2009
This review is from: Aquapac Mini Waterproof Camera Case (Electronics)
After reading too many bad reviews for the hard case made for the flip video camera I decided to go with the aquapac. It worked great although you have to make sure that the bag is pulled tight where the lens is or you get a ripply pic. I am just trying to figure out the best way to clean it...after a week of snorkling and sunscreen it got pretty smudgy and dirty. Big bonus... it floats!!!

My husband and I bought this case for a snorkeling trip during our honeymoon. It serves the purpose for our digital camera, but what's even more amazing is that we ended up using it everyday everywhere even when we were "above" water. We put our hotel key card, credit card, and cash inside and walking around the beach, hotel pool and even to dinners. It's so convenient because we can just carry everything we need with us and get inside the water anytime we want.

The pool was too cold to go into when I received this so I put a wad of tissue inside this and sunk it to the bottom of the pool (8 ft) for thirty minutes. When I brought it up and opened it up the tissue was dry as a bone. I think if it was going to leak it would have done it within thirty minutes. Should be fun to use this summer when the grand kids come over to swim.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works great in keeping camera dry, but know what you're getting, April 19, 2011
This review is from: Aquapac Mini Waterproof Camera Case (Electronics)
Basically this is a waterproof case for your camera that allows you to use it under water, but only up to 15 feet. I used this on a recent trip to Hawaii, snorkeling, and never at depths more than 2 or 3 feet. It kept the camera totally dry. However, since it's not the exact size, you need to keep the plastic pulled tight over the camera lense, or it will focus on the bag and not the picture. Also, underwater light doesn't travel as far, so what you see with your eye won't necessarily come out in the picture. Lastly, my product came with silica packs to stop moisture. They also create a small amount of dust that needs to be cleaned out of the case every few days.

I brought this to Schlitterbahn (water theme park) last week to takes photos and record the trip. I own a Sony TX7, and it has an internal/folding lens, similar to the camera in the product picture. It comes with a couple of desiccant packs so you don't have to buy more until later on, unless you plan to use this very often. Photos come out crystal clear, as if it wasn't in a case at all. Of course I kept the case as close to the camera lens as possible to minimize any reflecting light that might've gotten in the way. Also made sure that no water droplets were in front of the lens, I would just dip the case into water and this would solve the problem. Recording has the same quality; very clear as long as the case wasn't bulging out in front of the lens. Sound quality is very good as well. It picks up the sound of the case when you move it around a lot; sounds like a wet rubber rain coat. My camera is all touchscreen, so operation was very easy. I couldn't zoom in and out but that didn't bother me at all. For those that have dials on your camera, you're probably out of luck changing it while it's in the case. Awesome product, will be using it many more times over summer
