5.0 out of 5 stars These bags work!
My new Whanganui lay 3" under water for 70 minutes w/o any leakage. I'm using it to carry my GPS. For years I have used a Voyager roll-down dry bag, and it, like all dry bags, leaked a few drops after a day kayaking. By contrast, my wife has always used an Aquapac for her small GPS, and her bag has never had so much as a drop inside. It finally dawned on me that I...

2.0 out of 5 stars Waterproof bag is not quite waterproof
I bought the small whanganui waterproof case by Aquapac and it did not really keep my valuables dry. I went snorkeling w/ the case and by the end of the excursion the case was filled w/ some water. The bag was still properly sealed, but somehow water got in. Luckily I was only left w/ wet money & passports. I'm sure glad I didn't put my camera or any other electronic...

By contrast, my wife has always used an Aquapac for her small GPS, and her bag has never had so much as a drop inside. It finally dawned on me that I ought to get an AquaPac for my GPS. Of course, you have to avoid "operator error" and close the pac properly. They are clearly tough. Worry about whether Aquapacs could stand up to wilderness kayak travel on extended trips was the reason I did not buy one earlier. Her's has stood the test. I anticipate mine will also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Aquapac Whanganui case, November 26, 2011

I love this case! I am able to read my kindle while floating in the pool! What can be better than that! It is prone to condensation, so I just throw in a dessicant that I use with my scuba diving camera, and that problem is solved. You can use any dessicant, even out of pill vials. This is great for the beach as well, as it keeps any sand out of my kindle.

1.0 out of 5 stars Title and Photo are Wrong, November 2, 2011

I ordered this "Small Whanganui" case, and got the medium instead. The title says small, but the product description says medium and medium is what you get. Also the small is available on the eBags site for $5 less. I wanted this for my iPhone with the bumper case, but the medium is way too big for a phone.

I have used the aquapac products before. They work very well in keeping your important items dry while in water.
