Product Overview

Ever wished your camera was waterproof? Well don't worry, you don't need to go splashing out on an expensive waterproof camera, all you need is an Aquapac. With one of these ingenious but inexpensive cases you can take photos not just in the rain but underwater too (for up to half an hour, to a depth of as much as 30ft).

Catch the splash as your kids jump in the pool. Record your friends sailing, swimming, or surfing. With the Aquapac you'll be able to photograph safely wherever you want to go, whatever you want to do.

Product Features and Benefits

The Aquapac is made of a thin but remarkably tough material called TPU. Thin enough that you can operate all the controls normally. While the optically-clear LENZFLEXTM lens material makes for great image quality. Even underwater. Put "Shot using Aquapac" into your search engine and you'll find loads of images taken by customers through their Aquapacs.

The patented Aquaclip® sealing system opens and closes with a simple twist of three levers. And everything stays in one piece even when open.

The case is quite light - only 5.8oz including the comfortable shoulderstrap.

Extended Warranty

Aquapac combines an unrivalled Full 5-Year Warranty* with exceptional after-sales service. We very much doubt you'll get anything like it from any other brand.

(*According to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act 1975 a warranty must be described as either "Full" or "Limited". These terms are very strictly defined.)

About Aquapac

Aquapac is the world's favorite brand of 100% waterproof cases. We launched our first case way back in 1983. And since then we've been honored with the Queen's Award for Enterprise... three times!

We're based in London, but our products are to be found on every continent. The vast majority of our products are made in the UK. People are trusting their valuables to our waterproofing, so it's absolutely crucial that our manufacturing is of the highest quality.

I got this at Adorama thinking it would fit my Olympus E-520 + 70-300 mm lens, but no go. Whatever they call a "large digital camera with zoom lens" is NOT it. In fact, I could barely get the Panasonic FZ28 (which, tecnically, also qualifies as such) past the closure mechanism. Once it was in there, however, the Aquapac case accomodated it nicely. It would help if the manufacturer specified the product dimensions or listed which cameras fit in this bag.

This Aquapac case was acquired for a forthcoming trip in which I expect rain, snow and spattering with salt water. It looks solid and well-built enough to withstand all that. I've tested it by running water all over it, especially along the closure, to see if any would get in there. When I was through it was dry inside. The Lenzflex material is very clear and flexible, so it doesn't interfere in the photos or hinder manipulation of the camera buttons. Since I'll be taking both cameras on the trip, at least the Panasonic will be protected.

(100%) Piece-Of-Mind-Guarantee ("P.O.M.G.") with regard to salt waters and correspondingly-inseparable salt air vapors (naturally corrosive) .... Superb product .... Kudos (!!)

This bag is good at keeping water out. I took it snorkeling and had no water issues. But I will say it is quite difficult to take photos (I have the panasonic lumix GM1). It floats which is good if you let go by accident, but when you're wearing it around your neck you tend to get strangled a bit. In the future I'll probably only use it as a way to protect my camera from rain and water, but I'll get a GoPro for underwater shooting.

There is no trick for using this bag, just put your camera and close.
I used it just to snorkel on the surface of the water, didn't dive more than 1 meter.
When I open the bag to get the camera out, the camera and the inside of the bag had a lot of water drops.
do not buy this product.
