I bought this backpack because I like to ride my bike to class at UK everyday, about 4 miles one way. After I had this backpack about a month it finally rained, and rained almost everyday for about 3 weeks. This backpack keeps my notes and books 100% dry even after my 25 minute bike ride.

There is another inner pocket, which is what made me decide to purchase this particular backpack. It is intended to separate your wet clothes from the dry if you decide to change. On the really rainy days, i was able to fit all my school stuff in the main compartment, with a spare pair of basketball shorts, underwear, fip flops, a shirt, and jacket all in the inner pocket. I'd get to class and change clothes in the bathroom. The inner pocket actually pulls out of the main compartment so i could easily put my soaking wet clothes without having to worry about them dripping on my notebooks.

There is also a back support piece that is removable and advertised to be used as a seat if you're hiking or something. While I haven't used it as a seat I do like how it keeps flat against my back and I don't get poked by textbook corners or anything.

I absolutely love this backpack and I am 100% satisfied. Check you tube for some other reviews too. If I had a laptop, I would trust this backpack enough to ride my bike in a downpour with my laptop inside without another case. Also it fits good and is highly adjustable.

5/5 Easy

I have owned this pack (30 liter model) for two years now and still loving it. I am a minimalist and live in the mountains 6 months or more out of the year and this pack has been my never fail, little buddy out there I have been through a lot of packs but you people do not realize the comfort that this pack gives you when stuck in the pouring rain and knowing that everything inside the pack is completely dry. Walkman, kindle, razor, and solar charger. I have had 2 holes poked in it, brush and trees probably, but I fixed them with some bike patches in the field. Don't let that make you believe that this pack lacks strength, I would put this up against any pack out there, remember this pack has survived 2 years with not a camper but an extreme survivalist that really tests his gear. Only through nature. Peace Love and Energy Assures Survival for Everyone. PLEASE

Let me share with you a little story so you can rate how good is it. I took this bag with me on a trip for first hand stuff, there was a book in it, the thing is that I had to literally swim with this back pack on to get out of the lake that I get in previous rappelling next to a fall is that enough? well the book arrived to the shore intact not even signs of humidity inside the pack I was amazed I thought that at least some water would enter enough to spoil my book, I thought this is the maximum water test first falling water from a fall then superficial immersion in to the water, truly satisfied with the pack if you are looking for total impermeability buy it although a little fragile completely worthwhile

This backpack is thoughtfully designed and well made.

PROS:
+ I took it swimming, and it is indeed waterproof.
+ It is constructed very well, with no loose threads or leaks. And every strap, clip, and zipper works well. It's a pleasure to handle.

It has essentially three compartments: The main bag, a removable yellow pouch inside so wet and dry stuff can be separated, and a smaller transparent pouch meant for cell phone, keys, etc.

I have the 35L version of this bag, and my other 33L backpack easily fits inside. That's possible because backpack volume includes the volume of the mesh pockets. In other words, the main compartment is quite voluminous for a 35L bag.

CONS:
- It comes without any instructions whatsoever. A QR code is included, but it leads to a broken web link. I can't figure out what the loops at the end of some straps are for, and I wish they had included care instructions.
- The mesh pockets on the side are so deep that it is impossible to grab a water bottle while hiking.
- It only comes in black, which for someone who lives in the tropics or goes caving is a bad color choice.

Overall, I consider this a very capable and high-quality backpack.

Suggestions for improvements:
* I could need a quick-access outside pocket for keys or first-aid kit. That way I don't have to roll open and dig into the pack every single time.
* Other color choices than black would be good for hot climates or caving.
* Make one of the side mesh pockets short, so a water bottle can be grabbed from it without taking the backpack off.
* A side strap to hold longer items, such as a tripod would be worth considering.

Awesome wetpack, the extra wet section, and waterproof pouch inside are invaluable. I tried a bunch of different options, and this one is by far and away the best option out there. I took it on a trip to Belize recently, and even the guides were envious of this thing! Got lots of comments. I was able to bring my gear with me on a caving trip where we had to swim, and everyone else had to leave theirs at the entrance. Also note that even tho this is not submersible, it does float brilliantly on the water as it traps air inside. So if you do need to swim with it, just take it off and push it along with you, or even tie it to yourself with some rope. I also highly recommend the 35L size over the 25L, there is almost no difference in weight, so even if you don't need the extra space, it doesn't really cost you anything to carry it. Also as the pack is so flexible it won't take up any extra space either, unless you put more than 25L of stuff in it :) Personally I also found the 25L was a bit too small, so there really is no reason to limit yourself with the smaller pack.

This is an amazing backpack, if you need a waterproof backpack, look no further, this is it!
