5.0 out of 5 stars Ointment for all baby's skin problems
At 2 weeks old my baby's face started breaking out in a red rash on her cheeks and forehead. The pediatrician recommended we apply some Aveeno baby lotion but this aggravated the situation. I tried Aquaphor following a friend's advice and it worked wonders. Overnight, the rash completely disappeared and her face was clear and soft! Since then I've used Aquaphor healing...

1.0 out of 5 stars Great ointment. Poor quality control on packaging
I rate this ointment excellent, yet poor quality control on packaging.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ointment for all baby's skin problems, January 12, 2008
This review is from: Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment, 3 oz (85 g) (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
Since then I've used Aquaphor healing ointment to get rid of cradle cap, diaper rash, irritated skin in her neck, armpits, and other areas that can become rashy when moisture is trapped in folds. I use the normal Aquaphor ointment (not Baby) but after checking the ingredients, the formula seems to be the same. The ointment is thick and can be sticky when first applied, but you only need a very thin application to do the trick and the product is absorbed quickly, leaving behind the softest baby skin possible! One of my favorite products for baby, with fast results.

4.0 out of 5 stars It really works,,,,,,,,, September 26, 2007
This review is from: Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment, 3 oz (85 g) (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)

My newborn daughter was diagnosed with baby eczema. I had been trying other creams to treat her condition but nothing was really working. A friend of the family bought me a tube of the Aquaphor cream and suggested that I try it on her skin. The results were great. Not only did the ointment keep her skin moist, but it also healed those bright red areas she had in her joints. I would highly recommend this product.

Aquaphor ointment is fantastic! My 8 month old daughter sucks her thumb and is teething, both make for a lot of drool and result in a rash on her face. Using the Aquaphor consistently each night and throughout the day is a safe remedy and it really works!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for eczema, June 26, 2007
This review is from: Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment, 3 oz (85 g) (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
This product is great for eczema. This is the best lotion that I've found for my son's eczema. I hate the way it feels (sticky), but it works wonders.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great ointment. Poor quality control on packaging, December 26, 2011
This review is from: Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment, 3 oz (85 g) (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
I rate this ointment excellent, yet poor quality control on packaging.

Recently I purchased the Aquaphor Baby ointment in the tube (from another online store) for traveling because my favorite foot balms either comes in metal tins or glass jars. And I thought a tube should be more sanitary, especially when traveling. When receiving the ointment, I found it feel light in the hand for a 3oz tube. After removing the shrink wrap, I wanted to try it so I squeezed, and squeezed, .... turned out more than 2/3 of the tube was air. There is about less than 1 oz of ointment in a 3oz tube (my precision scale confirmed that even with the heavy plastic cover on). I think the quality of the ointment is good. But the quality control on packaging sure is lacking. It's too much hassle for me to mail it back. But if a parent is purchasing this for their baby, I recommend weighing it by hand to get a feel first and make sure you get a good one. Those baby bottoms may not like to hear "Oh I bought an empty tube of Auqaphor!" while vacationing in a remote area!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well for sensitive skin, December 3, 2011
This review is from: Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment, 3 oz (85 g) (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
I simply love aquaphor. My baby has a sensitive skin and broken out due to skin irritation. I applied aquaphor at night and next morning her skin was back to normal. I keep this ointment in my diaper bag and use it for everything (i.e dry chapped lips, scar marks, cracked skin ). The ointment is greasy, but as along as it works i can ignore the greasness.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great at preventing diaper rash, November 29, 2011

We have used a few different types of diaper rash creams and Acquaphor works better than anything else at preventing diaper rash by providing a good barrier. It has also helped prevent rash from drool on our baby's chest. Acquaphor doesn't work as well other creams once the rash is in place.
The packaging is nice to use until it reaches the end - I prefer to squeeze out the ointment rather than digging around in a larger tub. Unfortunately it is difficult to get all the product out of the tube.

5.0 out of 5 stars absolutely the best for baby skin!, December 9, 2010

my 6 weeks son suffer from skin rash in his face. It was yellow flaky, red and rough.
We went to pediatrician and he was diagnose with skin irritation due to milk/saliva that spill over his skin.
He also has cradle cap issue.
the doctor gave him bethametasone foam (Rx) to helps with the healing along with aquaphor. We applied the Rx foam to his face but he can't tolerated the pain. We end up just using the aquaphor cream. Immediately the day after the application, we can see the improvement. the skin flake starting to disappear and the redness also reduce. After 2 days all the symptom almost gone completely! Really great product.

Use this product sparingly or your child will glisten :) Good for very dry or chapped skin. I've noticed it does help prevent diaper rash, but not help get rid of it (desitin is still #1 choice for that). It also helps with mild ezcema.
Great product all around and the ingredients aren't too alarming either.
