Active ingredient: Petrolatum (41%)

Inactive Ingredients: Mineral Oil, Ceresin, Lanolin Alcohol.



Directions
Apply as needed. For diaper rash, change wet and soiled diapers promptly, cleanse the diaper area, and allow to dry. Apply ointment liberally as often as necessary, with each diaper change, especially at bedtime.

This ointment does not irritate sensitive skin and keeps even the dryest skin soft. I use this at night before bed; I find it's too greasy to use during the day, although it's much less greasy than Vaseline, and easier to take off too. I find it especially useful on my feet, elbows, and lips: my lips haven't been chapped even once since using this product!
Although this isn't very practical as a day moisturizer, I find that my skin stays soft throughout the day, even though I had applied it the night before. I love this product and swear by it-I will never go back to the creme based moisturizers that dried out and irritated my skin more than they moisturized.

Our son was in the NICU for 6 weeks and would get horrible diaper rash as a side effect of various medications he was taking. The nurses would slather Aquaphor on his butt and it would clear right up! Now we use it at home and it still has the same wonderful effect.

I also use it for my dry hands that are chapped from frequent hand washing. It helps my hands to heal and provides moisture without the burning effect of most lotions which contain alcohol.

This stuff is not just "vaseline". It's a really heavy, somewhat oily "goo". But after it's on, it doesn't leave your hands greasy. Great for badly cracked hands, dry skin, and for when your hands get wet or washed a lot, because it can stand up to water 1000% better than any "lotion".
