The Story of Jesus, the Man from Galilee, and How He Attained the Christ Consciousness Open to ALL.

THE AQUARIAN GOSPEL OF JESUS THE CHRIST is a far-reaching work that brings to light the intimate details of Christ's life upon which the New Testament gospels are silent, written from the original Akashic Records by a student who devoted forty years to prepare for the task.

This unique book is practically a complete record of the words and works of the Man of Galilee, including his eighteen years of study and travel in the Orient. It covers his life from birth in Bethlehem to his ascension from the Mount of Olives.

Of special interest and value are the full and intimate details concerning his life during the eighteen years spent in travel among the snow-bound monasteries of Tibet, the stately structures of Egypt, the mysterious temples of India, Persia, and Greece, a period when he walked and talked with monks, wise men, and seers throughout the Orient.

Transcribed from the Book of God's Remembrance Known as the Akashic Records

About the Author

LEVI (Levi H. Dowling) was born May 18, 1844 in Belleville, Ohio. His father, of Scotch-Welsh descent, was a pioneer preacher among the Disciples of Christ. Levi, following in his father s footsteps, began preaching at the age of sixteen; and at the age of eighteen was pastor of a small church. He entered the US Army as a Chaplain and served in this capacity to the end of the Civil War. By 1866 he was a student at Northwestern Christian University in Indianapolis, Indiana where he soon began publishing Sunday School literature. After graduation, he studied at two medical colleges and went on to practice medicine for a number of years. After his retirement from medicine in the early 1900 s, Levi resumed his literary work and began to organize THE AQUARIAN GOSPEL OF JESUS THE CHRIST for publication. Levi passed from earth-life on August 13, 1911.

3.0 out of 5 stars The ideal way to explore the Eastern influence on the spirituality of Jesus, November 23, 2007
By
This review is from: The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ: The Philosophic and Practical Basis of the Religion of the Aquarian Age of the World and of the Church Universal (Paperback)
The Aquarian Gospel is a book that I have read around three times, because many of the nuances of this book (particularly the metaphysical riddles) require second reading. This book is a MUST READ for those who plan to watch the movie based upon this book that is presently under production by William Sees Keenan and Drew Heriot. The Aquarian Gospel primarily tries to fill in the gaps and explain the "missing years" of Jesus that have been dismissed rather casually in the Bible by simply stating "And the boy grew in wisdom and stature." How much you eventually like this book will depend upon your objective. If the objective is to read a mystery novel, The Aquarian Gospel will disappoint (you will probably enjoy The Rozabal Line much more as a fast-paced thriller covering the Jesus in India story). If the aim is to read about the "Jesus in India" theory itself, again there are better books out there such as Jesus Lived in India: His Unknown Life Before and After the Crucifixion or The Unknown Life of Jesus: The Original Text of Nicolas Notovich's 1887 Discovery If, however, the aim is to understand the influences of the Eastern traditions upon the spirituality and teachings of Jesus, then this is an ideal read. Throughout the 1960's, The Aquarian Gospel was a big hit with the hippie movement. To that extent, this book acquired a "negative" and "anti-establishment" connotation. However, with today's significantly more liberal attitude towards questioning the origins of Christianity, this book needs to be looked at in a new positive light.

5.0 out of 5 stars A timeless testament and metaphysical studies classic., May 4, 2000
This review is from: The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ: The Philosophic and Practical Basis of the Religion of the Aquarian Age of the World and of the Church Universal (Paperback)
Reported to be taken from the Akashic Records, Levi's The Aquarian Gospel Of Jesus The Christ the story of Jesus of Nazareth, and how he attained the Christ consciousness that is open to all men. The Aquarian Gospel Of Jesus The Christ is a complete record of the "lost" eighteen years passed over in the New Testament gospels between the appearance of Jesus as a child in the Jerusalem temple and the commencement of his selection of apostles and the launching of his mission to the people of Palestine. The Aquarian Gospel Of Jesus The Christ is a record of Jesus' encounters with the masters, seers and wise men he visited while traveling in Tibet, Egypt, India, Persia, and Greece. A classic of metaphysical studies, this edition from DeVorss Publications will once again make this timeless testament available to a whole new generation of students and truth seekers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, filled with the true kindness of Jesus., July 20, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ: The Philosophic and Practical Basis of the Religion of the Aquarian Age of the World and of the Church Universal (Paperback)
I read this gospel constantly. It lifts me up in spirit. I've read the new testaments, and other gospels for the past 15 year daily, but nothing else compares with this. The chapters about Holy Breath for example are directly related the The Gospel of the Essenes and the Dead Sea Scrolls. On the first page of this Gospel it is stated the "Joseph was an upright man and a devoted Essene." The gospel shows Jesus in all the kindness and wisdom of God our creater. His references to holy breath as feminine is the same as in The Essene Gospel of Peace of Jesus Christ and the Essene Revelation. The chapters abound in kindness toward all creatures. For example his saving and caring for a wounded dog is wonderful to experience for anyone who loves their pets and animals. "For nature to be the keeper of our soul" I can't say enough about this. But to anyone who reads this review: please read "The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ" It wi! ll enrich your life.
