4.0 out of 5 stars One unfortunate feature, handle too short!
I was looking for a back scrubbing brush, and had read many horror reviews on Amazon of poorly assembled brushes falling apart after a few uses. This AquaBella brush is not one of those horror stories.

2.0 out of 5 stars Slightly defective on the massage side
The side with the bristles is fine, but the massage side is slightly defective. You can see the images I uploaded. I am considering returning this item, as I am not sure how useful this brush will be for me with the defects. I am giving it two stars because it is quite cheap considering the alternatives. I was looking for a back scrubbing brush, and had read many horror reviews on Amazon of poorly assembled brushes falling apart after a few uses. This AquaBella brush is not one of those horror stories.

From the Amazon stock picture, the brush looks like it's pink. Fortunately, for those of you who wish to augment your masculinity, the brush is NOT pink, it's actually a nice faux wood with a handy rope-like loop on the end.

The head is two sided, with a naturally bristled brush side, and massager on the other. After a dozen uses, it's held up well, nary a squeak or rattle.

The major downside is that the handle is about 6" too short; so unless you're extremely flexible or have the arms of NBA Player Tayshaun Prince, you may experience arm strain after use.

**UPDATE**: I've been using this brush for about a year now, and it's held up well. Just as good as the day I bought it. The short handle hasn't been as much of an issue as I initially thought- maybe I'm more flexible now. Works great! It also seems pretty mildew resistant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap brush price, great value., September 21, 2009

I was looking for a quality back scrubber that wasn't pink or purple.

I needed a cheap solution to scrubbing my back in the shower and this did the trick! The brush had a wooden handle, medium-stiffness bristles, and come with a rope loop attached for easy shower hang up. Would highly recommend!

Not long;handled; but that might be an advantage. This bath brush is a terrific buy at its low price.

The bristles are gentle and cleans well. I don't really use the massaging side like I thought I would.

I been trying to find a brush that I like as well as the one I had for many many years. This was about the 6th one that I bought and then didn't like. The brush isn't stiff enough when it's wet. and the handle could be a little longer.

1.0 out of 5 stars Total rip-off, December 10, 2011

Zero stars. Brush arrived with the wood cracked in half and when I looked closely under the bristles they had stapled the crack together! No only did that not work, but the bristles fall right out. Do not support this vendor. They purposely sent a broken product, probably hoping you would not waste your time sending it back.

I really like the texture of this brush. It isn't too stiff or scratchy. I would like to see it with a little longer handle on it, but in all, I'm pleased.

The bristles are firm but nothing too abrasive and although it is short, with some reach it is very easy to get those tough spots.

I used this for about a week to wash my back and it already is worn out. The bristles are too weak for actual scrubbing. I'm going to buy one with stronger plastic bristles. I don't recommend buying this, it won't last long at all.
