The brush comes off the handle every 5 seconds. No idea why this thing even has a handle cause it doesn't even serve its purpose. Very annoying.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ahhh..., March 19, 2009

This is a great back brush. My only criticism is that I wish the handle was permanently attached to the brush head. It would make it stronger for using on your back...and that's the only thing I use it for!

Pros: very nice length, comfortable handle, stiff natural bristles
Cons: none
Regarding some of the other reviews:
Comparable brushes usually cost up to 3x as much
If you hang your brush up after use, it will be less likely to come apart when you don't want it to
If it does come apart, you could glue it with waterproof glue
If you don't take it apart, it may never come apart

3.0 out of 5 stars Some problems, February 4, 2010

My wife uses this brush and likes its long handle and finds the bristles to be comfortable when washing her back. She complained that the brush head frequently slips off the handle and falls to the shower floor. She also had no use for the strap over the back of the brush since she only wanted it for washing her back. I question the advisability of a strap, since the brush head slips off the handle so easily even when you don't want it to. I had to modify the brush by cutting away the strap and attaching the brush head permanently to its handle using a brass #4 flathead screw 3/4" long. My wife is now very pleased with her long handled "back only" brush. I think the manufacturer should consider affixing the head permanently to its handle and losing the strap.

5.0 out of 5 stars back brush works with a little help, January 25, 2011

solution to the complaints about the brush coming off the handle. I used to have this problem with my old back brush and so when I got these new ones I decided to fix that problem. I bought water proof wood glue at Home Depot and as soon and the new brushes arrived I glued the brush to the handle on 2 of them, took the brush off the 3rd and tossed the handle. Works great... the brush bristles are just right softness, length of handle good, light weight, easy to use. I have a command plastic hook in each shower with the back brush hanging there... and the spare brush rests in the tub edge. We only have 1 tub, the other shower is a stand alone.. I could put a brush on a command hook in there if I end up needing one. We love these back brushes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Brush but handle not really necessary, March 25, 2010

The brush is very soft and great but I don't really use the handle. I have not had the problem of the brush coming out of the handle yet, but I suspect that if one is careful and scrubbing gently, there's no reason for the brush to just pop right out. At least for me, I've been using it for a few months and haven't had this problem so far.

Great little scrub brush, particularly for the price. Handle detaches from brush for versatility. Coarse bristles.

Good brush, but removable handle is poorly designed. The handle comes off too easy when you don't want it to.
