Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Ordered these boots based on my research.. lots of positive feedback on this boot across the web. Amazon had the best price, so I bought them here for $113 in the Cranberry Nappa suede. The price has now gone up to $199!

Out of the box they are lovely. The cranberry color does pack an elegant punch, but it is also low key enough to be worn with a wide variety of clothes and colors.

The boots were comfortable from the moment I slipped them on my feet. They do run small --- I usually wear an 8.5, and I ordered a 9. They were snug with thin socks. But suede gives, so by the time I am ready for full on heavy socks, the suede will have stretched.

The boot circumference is snug, but totally wearable.

The styling is lovely. The toe box is a rounded square. The heel is a nice size patent leather heel also in cranberry. The caveat here is that we a know how delicate patent leather is especially on a heel. The boots also have a way of making my size 9 feet appear smaller than they are.

The boots marry elegance with comfort and casual style You can easily wear these with jeans or or nice slacks, and a skirt if you like wearing booties with a skirt.

So my review is based on a five minute tour around my house. But these feel comfortable. I can usually get a good idea of a boot that will have a painless break-in, and this is one. But I will update my review after I have worn them.

This may have been the sweet steal of the season. I'm so excited to wear these. Let it Snow!

UPDATE:

I wore these for the first time today. Had them on for three hours at a party where there was little movement, but on my feet the whole time. Two hours into the party my feet started to hurt -- specifically the ball of the foot. You know, the kind of pain that can only be alleviated by sitting down or taking off the shoes. But once I got home, and took off shoes, I was fine. No lingering pain, no blisters.

Still love the boots, but I'm not so optimistic about the getting more comfortable. I'll update again after more wear.
