Two years ago I bought a pair of Aquatalia boots very similar to these in a "hazelnut" brown color. They were so comfortable that I have practically worn them out! A guard at the Paris airport in customs stopped me to ask me where I got them. Those boots have been to Europe, Egypt and beyond. They are the focal point of any outfit!

When I saw the chianti color in a similar style I had to have them! I must say - if you have large calves they WILL BE TOO TIGHT, they are just right for me and I have 14 inch calves. I got many compliments on my brown ones and I know that the chianti color will also be a hit. Chianti goes with everything fall and winter - black, grey, brown, neutrals, denim, the list goes on.

Ladies - Aquatalia boots are worth every penny. You get what you pay for and make no mistake, Aquatalia boots are more comfortable and stylish than any others. They are simply the best. Maybe one day they will have the hazelnut color again - if they do I will grab them!

I am a fan of Aquatalia for many years as a boot that provides style, function comfort and quality. They tend to run somewhat narrow, so if you are not in that catergory, unless wider width is available, this boot is not for you. I wear these boots rain or shine, office or casual. Love them!

I looked long and hard for boots that were properly weatherproof (let's face it, waterproofing spray won't cut it in a slush puddle or a downpour) but also stylish and office-appropriate. These are it! I have them in the Chianti Patent, which may be a little forward for some, but I have gotten many compliments already and the low heel is very tasteful. They are well-constructed and incredibly comfortable on the streets of NYC. They are on the narrow side, however, both in the shaft and the foot. I sized up half a size (usually a reliable 7.5, got these in 8) and they are perfect with tights or dress socks. I am able to tuck skinny jeans into them but I have pretty slender calves; they do have elastic, so there is some give, but not a ton. Very happy with my choice.
