The Professional's Must Have,
By Renee (South Carolina) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Aquatic and Wetland Plants of Southeastern United States: Monocotyledons (Hardcover)
This book and it companion, the Dicotyledons, is THE professional's wetland plant identification book for the southeast. It is not a field guide but rather an office plant identification reference. It is not for the hobby naturalist unless they are prepared for the technical language and presentation. If you make your living identifying wetland plants in the southeast, you must have this book. Buy the Dicotyledons as well.

The Professional's must have,

This review is from: Aquatic and Wetland Plants of Southeastern United States: Dicotyledons (Hardcover)
This book and its companion, the Monocotyledons, are THE required books for all professionals who need a reference to identify wetland plants in the southeast. It is not a book for the hobby naturalist unless they are prepared for the technical terms and presentation. It is not a "field guide" but an office reference for indentifying plants collected in the field. It is worth the price if you identify plants for a living. Buy the Monocotyledons as well.
