This looks and feels like solid copper, but I can't tell. It has a nice finish, and matches my lighter copper bath fixtures. It's much bigger, deeper, than I expected, and that's good, because I sometimes have those larger circumference shampoo bottles, and like space for body brushes, salt scrubs, face cleaner, and a couple shower products. That's too much to fit in a standard caddy. This one is even big enough to stuff your morning latte into! It fits a 4 and 3/4 inch diameter object. It does stick out five inches from the wall. But even in the small bath shower I placed it in, that's not a problem. At the top, the hanger loop is nice and wide, to fit over a large pipe or hanger, but I have it on a small hook and it hangs securely. I think you could hang it over a 1 3/4 to two inch hook, yet because it has a plastic notched covering over the hanger loop part, it reduces movement and swinging, and hangs securely. Even though out of the box I thought it was a bit big and clunky, upon hanging it, it doesn't look too big. I love it and it looks and works great. I WILL put my latte in it.

Perhaps it is just how my shower is set up (I have a detachable shower wand/hose), but this rack hangs way too close to the shower head. So close, in fact, that I had to devise a way to hang it lower so that it doesn't interfere with the shower head. There is not much room for this rack to hang below the shower head, as the "loop" that hangs over the shower head (at the top of the rack) is not very long. If you think you can devise a way to hang it lower, then this will work great. If you want it to work great out of the box, this product may or may not be for you - it may have only been a problem for me due to my particular shower head.

Top shelf is too close to the shower head so you end up getting sprayed in the face constantly. 1 week after hanging it in my shower already the metal is starting to rust. I will have to buy another caddy now, I do not want permanent rust marks on my shower walls.

Finally I have a place for my shampoo, soap and other "shower needs". It even has a hook for my shower brush. Easy to install (I had to hook it over the faucet) and pleasant to look at.

I wish it was 4 or 5 inches longer so the middle shelf could be used for larger sized shampoo bottles and also it could hang down another inch or so from the shower head. As it is, I'm lucky and the spray just misses it and that's really only because of the dip in the middle of the design, and the small size of my shower head. One more thing is that even though it comes with a little plastic sleeve on the top which I think is supposed to keep it from scratching your shower pipe, it still slides around. I fixed this though by taking some black electrical tape and wrapping it around the pipe and that provided enough friction to keep it from sliding. You might think that's kinda tacky, but it really isn't even noticeable.

Other than that, I've owned it for a month and a half and there's no rust. I have the antique copper one and I'm not entirely sure whether it's real copper or not. I hope it is.

Just wish it hung a little lower and the middle shelf was a little taller.

*Edit* Now 6 months out, and this is starting to rust. I had hoped it was real copper, but apparently not. too bad

This is a great looking caddy that holds a lot and was excited to get it. Even after I had to put a zip tie on the shower head pipe to keep it from sliding down and wacking me in the head I was still glad for my purchase, for about 6 weeks until the rusting started. Within several months of having it , it was COMPLETELY rust covered. Such a bummer !!!

I ordered this for my shower and as soon as I received it (perfectly packed), I installed it and have been using it. It holds everything I need and much better than the one I used to have. Plus it's oh so beautiful on top of it. i think it will last years and years.

This arrived quickly, works perfectly, and seems to be well constructed. Absolutely no complaints.
