5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality, and functional
This is a good quality shower curtain rod. The tension rod works exactly the way it's supposed to, and the finials on the end are substantial and pretty. The finials have round rubber pads inside the ends that hug the wall, and those are a good size to avoid slipping and damage to the wall/tile. The chrome is, well, chrome, and is shiny and solid. It nicely matches my towel bars, cabinet pulls, and lighting fixtures in my guest bath. I think it is the finials that really make it look like a nice bathroom fixture; it's not at all cheap-looking like the plain rods. It finishes the bathroom perfectly. It was easy to put up, and does not slip or lose tension. I would definitely purchase this again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saved Drilling New Tile, October 6, 2009

We were concerned about drilling mounting holes in a new porcelain tile tub surround. The easy and non-destructive tension mounting system overcame our fears and not only left the tile in pristine condition it also enabled us to experiment with different heights in hanging the shower curtain. Finally, the design of this rod closely matched our new sink and tub hardware.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality Tension Rod, December 17, 2010

I bought this tension rod to replace my old one which kept falling down. My shower curtain plus liner are a bit on the heavier side, but so far (3 days in) this rod has held up just fine with no signs of slippage. It's very easy to elongate and lock into place at any height desired. I like the click sound that tells you it's locked in. Only time will tell how it holds up in the long run, but so far so good. I would recommend this product to others.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rust spots showing after 1 week of usage!!, October 17, 2011

I should have read the reviews more intensely when I bought this product. Anyways, this product is already failing me after one week of usage. It starts to show rust on certian sections of the rod. Yes, you read right! Only after 1 week.

1.0 out of 5 stars Beware of RUST!!!!, October 7, 2011

I've had this curtain rod for only 6 months. It has rust all over it. Yes, it was easy to install and looked nice. But, if you plan to use this for over 6 months, it will rust. Pretty pathetic, i think, that we can't find a stainless steel shower rod?? Would that be too high tech? Sad....

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy, May 21, 2011
This review is from: Aquatico Milano Shower Curtain Tension Rod, Chrome (Kitchen)
I purchased this rod about 1 year ago. It stays in place even with a heavier weight shower curtain. The finish has held up well, but it has dulled along the rod from wear (sliding the curtain back and forth). I had to reposition the rod recently to add a new curtain and there was a problem with the cushioned end cap pads. They stuck to the bathroom's painted walls and pulled up some paint. The most likely reason for it was that I had originally installed the rod too soon after giving the walls a fresh coat of paint before the paint was able to fully cure. Luckily I just needed to put the rod back in the same spot.

Overall, I would definitely purchase the rod again - and I am now as I needed a second rod for another bathroom in my home. I like the easy option of using a tension rod vs drilling holes into my tile walls for just a curtain rod.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice, sturdy, does the job..., April 15, 2011

After reading other reviews regarding rusting etc, I decided to chance it and bought this bath curtain rod.

I have not been disappointed. After over a month of steaming hot showers I have found no rust of any kind. The rod goes up easily and supports and designer outer shower curtain and an inner clear shower curtain as well. Grommets, hangers and rod are all stain/rust free and the curtains are doing the job they were designed to do.

A top shelf set of products that serve me well so far.

What more can a body ask for?

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Rod!, March 31, 2011

This is a great Tension Rod, works a 1000X's better them the last one we had, and looks amazing in my not very updated bathroom... If you are considering a shower rod, look no further. Have had it for a month now and it still holds strong to my toddler and husbands, swishing of the curtains (not in a gentle way)

This is a medium to low priced shower rod and I like it because it looks nicer than what I paid for it. Low end shower rods just have rubber on the tips and this one has rubber tips that are covered. It looks great. Will post back if I have issues with it staying up.
