They will obviously last longer than a cheaper pair and therefore are worth the money.

I bought these shoes for my family for our 7 day cruise (in the dead of winter so walmart didn't carry them). They were durable and cuter than the average pair of water shoes. Also, when purchasing water shoes elsewhere, they got one or two good uses out of them before the big toe busted through, or the sole started coming unglued. These shoes were worn nearly every day of a 7 day cruise and are still in tip-top shape. My only complaint would be that they run a little big. I would suggest getting one size smaller. I'm an 8 1/2, I got an 8, and I should have gotten a 7.

I recently purchase two pair of these water shoes...one for myself and one for my husband. I followed the sizing chart and ordered a size down for both of us. Since they don't make half sizes mine were still too big. I was upset because I wanted them for my vacation. I didn't want to have to pay for shipping again to get the correct size. However, when I contacted customer service I was surprised with how easy they were to work with. Not only were they going to pay for the shipping costs to return the wrong size shoes, but they said they would send me another pair before they received mine so I could get them in time for my vacation. I shop alot over the internet and this by far is the best customer service I have received.

I just received my new water shoes. Having never owned a pair of water shoes before I wasn't sure what to expect. These shoes are well made and comfortable. They are worth every penny!

I've bought several pairs of "Water Shoes" over the last few years as I have a waterfront vacation home where I keep a pair & then I wear a pair almost daily when I get home from work to water all my landscaping projects. I also wear them when I mow the lawn or do almost anything that requires me to be outside spring thru fall. However, the watershoes I've bought elsewhere don't stand up to these! They're more durable without sacrificing comfort. They actually have a velcro strap adjustment that the others don't. As much as I wear them, I need a pair that will last a full season with me. I see these being around next season as well! Great shoes at a great price! The only Water Shoe for me! Get Wet! Ciao

Let me start by saying that these shoes SUCK. They are awful. Very cheaply made. I grew up on a lake and have owned several pairs of water shoes (typically buy cheap ones at walmart or a local sporting good store). I was getting ready to leave for Mexico on vacation and read that the resort we were staying at had some large rocks in the water so I wanted to wear some water shoes. I couldnt find any of my older pairs so I looked around town. Since it was towards the end of August most places were out. I decided to put my prime membership to work and buy a pair with 2 day shipping. The shoes seemed OK when I got them so I threw away all the packaging. By day 2 there was a large hole in the side. Day 3 another hole in the toe. Day 4 the velcro (spelling?) was shot on the left shoe and wouldnt stay closed. Day 5 the coverings on the sole inserts were coming off exposing a sticky glue-like side. And day 6 I threw the pieces of garbage in the trash. I was in Mexico for 8 days and they couldnt even last long enough to make it through the trip. DO NOT BUY THESE!!!!

Im a 25 year old male from Michigan and did not use these for running or sporting activities. I simply used them for what water shoes are intended to be used for - and that is protecting your feet in the water. There was not excessive use (maybe 5 hours for 5-6 days each) and it was the correct size for my foot. I wear a size 9 shoe so I bought the 8 and it fit well.

I hope this helps someone else. I saw several shoes in this price range and wish I would have tried one of the others.

I ordered these to wear in the locker room/shower area and pool area of our local YMCA. I've never been one to go barefoot and the tile floors can be treacherous when wet not only from people walking in and out of the showers, but also from the janitors using soapy mopwater on the floors. These shoes help me feel much safer in these areas. I still have to walk carefully, you can't just trapse around like you're in tennis shoes, but at least now I feel that I'm more in control of my footing.

I wear a 9 and I ordered a 9, which does have some extra room in the toe. However, in the water this actually ends up working like an abbreviated flipper/swim fin and helps me move through the water better while doing laps. The velcro strap makes them easy to take off and put on, and keeps them securely on my feet even though they are a bit big. The insoles do come out (intentionally!) to help the shoe dry quicker. A lot of people seem to be missing this fact. The insoles will bunch up once I get out of the pool and am walking back to the locker room, but I can live with that. These shoes aren't meant to be used for distance walking and it seems that a lot of people are rating them poorly for not performing in that capacity. I think the insoles bunch up because they are quite thin. A thicker insole would all but solve this problem, I believe.

For people complaining that these shoes take too long to dry, here is a suggestion. When I'm done swimming,I put a towel on the floor, turn the shoes upside down on the towel and stand on them in my street shoes. My weight helps squeeze excess water from the shoes into the towel. Then I put them in a plastic shopping bag so they don't get other stuff in my gym bag wet, and when I get home I leave them in the bathroom to dry. I swim almost every other day, and have never had them still be wet the next time I needed them. Setting them in front of a fan or register would also help them dry faster.
