The perfect shower shoe,

I keep these shoes in my gym bag to wear in the shower/locker room. The porous design allows water to drain through the sole quickly and completely. I take an 8.5 medium but the shoe is available in full sizes only. I ordered the 9 and, while there is extra room length-wise, the straps are definitely snug (which stops my foot from sliding around when wet). Anyone who requires a wide width in shoes would be very uncomfortable in these sandals; the side straps would really dig in. I have the lilac color; it's very pretty.

Not a suitable shower shoe,

I tend to slip in the shower. Since I prefer a more exotic method of death, I have been looking for a shower shoe with good grip.
After reading the comments here, I bought a 9 for my 8-1/2 size feet. The sandal was uncomfortably tight, but I figured that was okay for just showering. The sandal was fine with just water, but once things got soapy, they became very slippery. I had to take them off mid-shower. Because of the sizing, I can't wear them as an everyday sandal, so this was a big waste of money for me.

Good, not great,

These work very well as shower shoes but are not very comfortable for walking around. Because of that, and the fact that they are flip flops, I wouldn't use them for water sports, but for short walks where water drainage is important they are fine. They do have a distinct, but not umpleasant, smell.

Great beach wear or for college dorm resident. I wouldn't suggest wearing these on the street, they might melt!

I really like the color and you won't slip and bust your butt in these. Wore them while deployed to Iraq and they're still going strong.

First off, these smell like candy - like smarties. Not in a bad way. Much better than some other plastics. Even after many wearings by the pool and in the shower, they still smell yummy.
Your feet are not dry after using these in the shower. The water drains out of the sides, but the surface stays wet. At least the water doesn't puddle on top. They actually have some arch support and the wider straps make it for a comfortable shoe. Most cheap thong flip flops hurt my feet and I don't have that issue with these. I use these at the gym and am pretty happy with them.

I got these to wear in the shower at the gym because of the drainage aspect. First of all, they run really small, especially with regards to width and tightness of the straps. The straps are also pretty stiff and would probably cause horrendous blisters if worn for any significant length of time (and, being plastic, it's unlikely they'll break-in). They're also pretty heavy to be carrying around in a gym bag. The most distinctive thing about these shoes is the strange and VERY STRONG odor, not a straight-up plastic smell but more like a chemically smell with a perfume trying to mask it. When I opened the box it nearly knocked me over, and my entire office stinks from having them sitting here for a few hours. I hope that this will fade over time. In a nutshell, I probably wouldn't recommend these as normal shoes, but they seem ideal for the locker room/shower, and the price is definitely right.

These shoes are stiff and uncomfortable. They leave blisters and cuts. No matter how long I tried to break them in, they would not soften and become easier to wear.

I was excited to get these, they look great, but they are not very comfortable. I have a narrow foot and never really have an issue with tight fitting flip flops, but these are tight around the mid part of my foot. I will keep them, because it would not be worth returning for what I paid. Maybe I can use them for around the house.. idk disappointed :(

I got these for college shower shoes, and they are great! They are very light and dry quickly. I would, like other reviewers, however, recommend that you go a size up for these.
