Has a biofilter wheel, is relatively quiet, and includes everything but the plants and fish. Will accept high power light bulbs and keeps itself clean with a 12/12 light timer, regular top offs, and PH balance. I got this for 29.99 on sale at Plano Petsmart 12/2010.

I bought this tank two years ago along with two baby goldfish. Now, the goldfish are still healthy and happy in their home, and have never gotten sick at all, even in the beginning when it was a brand-new tank.

i was disappointed in this product. it came with a small crack in the top of the glass not leaking water but it is noticeable. a few days after i revived this product in the mail i went into a local pet store to surprisingly find it for $32.50 that angered me. and to find out that this product did not come with a heater (in the description) witch costs around 18- 25 dollars around my location big bummer. over all the product works just fine just a few disappointments so don't get your hopes up!

Nice tank, but filter is really loud, wonder if the fish are getting a head ache.
The tank is nice looking and has a nice top. Just make sure you attach the filter correctly. One of our fish died the second day b/c my husband didnt put the filter on right.

Great fish tank. FYI - the tank does NOT come with the heater.. Allpet did send me one after they realized the mistake, so I support them 100%, they were very accommodating... I would buy again.

I bought this kit at a local pet store a few months ago. I have two goldfish and two snails in it, and they're doing quite well. It was easy to put together and so far is pretty good. Even with goldfish, the water doesn't get dirty too fast, especially with the right upkeep. The only thing is, when the water is below the filter line where the water pours back in, it's a bit loud. It's just a trickling noise, but it keeps me up at night because I'm a light sleeper. When I replace the water and fill it up to the filter, it's not loud, but the water seems to evaporate pretty quickly--about 3/4 of an inch in a little over a week.

I bought this kit about six months ago. I had what I thought was a burnt out bulb, but when I bought a replacement bulb and got home to change is the entire fixture came out! Now the other side is doing the same thing. Do not waste your money on this piece of junk.

I have had this tank running for 3 years and it has been great! I am about to upgrade to the 26g bow front from Aqueon.

I received my tank 3 days early and it was in great condition no damage whatsoever. However in the Product description Amazon has it says this tank comes with a submersible heater which I was unable to find anywhere in my box. I'm not sure if this is a mistake in the description or what, but it would be nice to have the heater as well.

Other than that, I am greatly satisfied with my purchase.

I gave 4 stars because it was a little pricey.. I later found an exact thing but a little cheaper somewhere else. It was a great item though and shipped fast.
