Lightweight & super-absorbent,
By TCL (Guilford, CT USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Aquis Adventure Microfiber Towel, Medium (15 x 29-Inches) (Health and Beauty)
The Fabric:
* Lisse Crepe -- their original towel. Also the most substantial (heaviest and thickest) of the three versions Aquis offers (Lisse Crepe, Waffle, "Terry") * Texture: very short pile, no visible loops. Not a fluffy towel. * Slightly clingy, when drying yourself. * A little static in the dryer (but not as much as their microfibre "terry" version) * Very absorbent and lightweight. * Dries fast * Comes in many colours and sizes. Unlike other membrane/spongy camping/outdoor towels: * You CAN throw this is in the dryer. * Feels closest to a real towel. * Will not stiffen-up when dry. Sizes and uses: *Size XL is best as a bath towel, b/c you can coverup. *Size L was the original hair/gym towel size -- longer and narrower. Good for a small child. *Size M [Shown here] is Hand Towel sized and is good as a Hand Towel and as a kitchen towel. It gets damp but not soggy and will still do its job of drying hands. It is also excellent as a doggy foot-towel as the clinginess of the weave will help collect dirt. The darker colours also help hide stains, but will bleed a little when washed the first few times. It is colorfast after that. *Size S is washcloth sized. For a softer fluffier version, look at Aquis' Diva Collection which uses their "Terry" weave.

nice to have if you have space,
This review is from: Aquis Adventure Microfiber Towel, Graphite, Medium (15 x 29-Inches) (Health and Beauty)
Its way smaller than a normal towel and it actually dries you off really fast. I actually used one in Iraq, it was just less volume to pack than a conventional towel. Not sure if I would actually take it backpacking...I would most likely just dry off with a shirt or something and just hang it up.

I bought this product because I had one from years ago that I use when I go to the gym but lost. It's great at drying me off while i'm working out and yet the towel isn't wet. I am conflicted though. I bought this one when I lost the one I already had. It's a bit thinner and not the same deminsion as the original, but I still like it for what it does. I also like the little bag that it comes in, which I didn't have with the original one.

I have been using these towels for years and love them. Excellent quality, dry fast and take no room when traveling or going to the beach. Have been giving them to friends and family members, they all love them.

These work great for backpacking. Lightweight, they absorb more water, and dry out faster, than the packtowel brand. The snap-tab works well to attach to a clothesline or a strap on your pack to dry it out while walking. If you're not concerned about saving weight/space, you'll probably want to go with a large instead of the medium size.

Super light, super absorbant. Great for dorm, travel. Highly recommend. (Do NOT bleach or use fabric softener on this product or any microfiber product.)

People, Its not a Bath Towel!,
This review is from: Aquis Adventure Microfiber Towel, Graphite, Medium (15 x 29-Inches) (Health and Beauty)
This is a small towel ideal for boats, camping, hiking. Great for when you are short on space or you are looking for ultra light weight. It does the job. Dries your body sufficiently. I dried myself entirely. Easy to squeeze the water out of it. It dries pretty quick too. Not in 20 minutes, but not like a regular towel either.

Microfiber Towel,
This review is from: Aquis Adventure Microfiber Towel, Seafoam, Medium (15 x 29-Inches) (Health and Beauty)
Don't waste your money on this size. Go ahead and get the 19 x 39 towel. The absorbency is good but there's no way it will fit around a head. Also, I'm not sure what to do with the snap that is attached either.
