Buying something like this sight unseen can be a bit un-nerving. But I took a chance after looking at the numerous other inflatbles on the market. Im very impressed by the quality of the materials and workmanship of this boat. I paired it with a Nissan 9.8 4 stroke and it gets up to 21mph. Also I can run about 30 miles on a 3 gallon tank of gas. I use non ethanol added gas to keep my motor running good. It about 4.50 a gallon but its worth keeping my engine from getting fouled up by the damn ethanol.
I can take it out of my truck and set it up in 20 minutes. Its not light so if you are weak and can not lift a 80 pound bag of concrete you will need help to move the boat in the bag. The weight of the Nissan 9.8 motor is about 80 pounds as well. And it is Made by Tohatsu, who also makes Mercury motors 15hp and less. And the material is extremely stong, I tried to rip a piece of the patch material with a sharp pair of cuticle scissors with no effect. I take my 80 pound Rottweiler out with me, and I wanted to make sure her nails couldnt puncture it.
Yes its PVC not Hypalon, but then its not 3000 dollars either. I bought mine direct from Aquosworlds about a month ago..before they got on Amazon and they are very easy to work with. My MSO got messed up and they sent a new one the same day I notified them via a word DOC.
Ill post up my video of it running full speed later.
Ive put about 60 miles of hard use on the Chesapeake bay, and most of the time its pretty choppy. The boat handles the chop very well, and I have had zero trouble with boat. I put it in for the weekend, and then roll it back up for the week. I have inspected all the seems and everthing is still tight as a drum. Also I can get around 40 miles on a 3 gallon gas tank. :) Love this boat!
