I'm way picky about my shoes due to nerve damage in my feet from chemo treatments. Hard to find flip flops that stay on my feet. These fit the bill! The straps are wide and set far enough back on the footbed to keep the sandal on the foot. The footbed is firm yet comfortable. It doesn't feel too soft or too hard. The sole is thick but in my opinion adds to the comfort of the sandal. The buckle is a cute fashion extra. To those before me who reviewed this sandal and complained that its NOT adjustable - it is. The buckle is stationary however, there's Velcro under the strap where the buckle is located. Thats where the adjustability comes from NOT the buckle itself. The sandal is true to size. I wear a 9 and bought a 9. Fits well. For those with a wider foot, I can attest to the fact that these Fitflops are a good fit for a wider foot. The Walkstar line is tight on my foot. These are not even when not adjusted all that much with the Velcro. I love them and am contemplating purchasing another color!

I love earth shoes and these are no exceptions. The Arabesque is a Mary Jane in style but they've got a sporty edge. I didn't give them five stars because they are not as "cushy" as I am used to.

Comment about the sizing: I ordered size 8, my usual size. These are a bit longer in the toe box and a bit wider in the heel than my other earth shoes so if you are barely a size 8, you might want to order a size 7.5 instead.

I hesitated a bit with these FitFlops since they are on the expensive side, but I loved the looks of them and said, "What the heck -- I can always return them!" They came, I wore, and all was good with the world. Love them! I did follow someone else's advice and ordered a size down, particularly with concerns about the strap being too wide. I'm normally an 8 with a regular sized foot and instep (but can wear 7.5 or 8.5 depending on the shoe.) I ordered a 7 and it fits perfectly width-wise, and though my heel is at the edge in the back, it doesn't hang over at all. The fit feels great, the shoes were super comfortable from Day 1, and they are very, very cute!

Cute sandals, very comfortable. These shoes run big. I didn't know just how big until I tried on a smaller size in a knock-off pair. I've had to use pads in the bottom to take up the extra space between my foot and the upper. Also, the thong, the piece that goes between your toes, it has come unsewn and I had to take it to a shoe Dr. today. I've asked him to shorten that piece on both shoes. The shoes are expensive to begin with and to add that repair cost just adds to it. I'm hoping this repair will help the shoes fit better and I hope they haven't looked too big to others. I did order a smaller size in the walkstar patentleather and they fit so much better. I just happened upon this brand on the internet and have never tried them on in a store so it's been more difficult to know what to go with. But...the Hooper's are cute.

Wearing these sandals all day makes me feel like I've had a foot massage! They are soft, yet supportive, and look stylish, as well.

I recently started wearing fitflops as I was having much pain in knee which needs replacement. If I wear the Fitflops all the time I am pain free. I can,t say enough about how great I think they are. I had one knee done and had a bad reaction from the medications for pain , so am reluctant to have another. Fitflops have been my salvation. I own 3 pair now and plan to buy more. I have 5 or 6 friends that are also wearing them and all are very happy with them.They do tone the butt as I am living proof.I am thrilled with all the new styles and anxious to obtain more of them.The next 2 I will buy are the Frou Frou and the Postiano. Keep the styles coming. PS. I bought 2 of the pairs on Amazon and got better prices than in department store.

I love the comfort of my new Fit Flops, but I wish I had ordered a size smaller. I read the other reviews that said they ran big, but having a wide foot, with a high instep, I decided to go for my regular size. They aren't huge, mostly just long at the toe - but I have short toes, so... I do love them and wear them all the time. I had a bilateral knee replacement 3 months ago and they are easy on the knees as well as the feet. I think they have improved the way I walk which helps both knees and feet. I have arthritis in my back and I haven't noticed a huge improvement with that, but maybe in time I will. I would definitely recommend them!

BUCKLE DOES NOT ADJUST-- IT'S FOR LOOKS ONLY~~~~I have at least a dozen pairs of Fit flops and was so excited to finally see that they had added a buckle!!!. I wear mine all of the time and they always seem to stretch out and with the regular ones there is not a way to get them back to the original width.... THEY MISSED THE BOAT ON THESE--- THE BUCKLE IS NOT ADJUSTABLE!!!!!!IT IS FOR LOOKS ONLY... IT ARRIVES IN THE TIGHTEST POSITION AND YOU CANNOT EVEN USE THE OTHER POSITION.... PLEASE FIT FLOPS I LOVE YOUR SHOES~~~~~~~~~~~ MAKE SOME ADJUSTABLE STRAPS...

This is my first pair of Fitflop and no regrets about purchasing it! The design looks much better than the usual designs and is very comfortable and definitely softer than the Women's Walkstar 3 Toning sandal that I've ordered subsequently.

Typically my back and heel will ache after one quarter day's worth of walking, but with this pair of Fitflop, I can walk all day! If not for the base that gets dirty easily, I would have given it the full 5 stars!

i just cant take them off, very comfy, worth your money, i highly recommend it, no back or feet pain
