Arabic at a Glance is one of the most compact yet complete phrase book I have seen. It contains a dictionary for over 2,000 words, as well as Emergency phrases. It also provides color maps, travel tips, food and shopping guides, and, not to mention, has a clear plastic cover (in case you get stuck in the rain...).
