I am new to Indian classical music, and very new in my appreciation of the bansuri, but this record is astoundingly beautiful. If you're interested in hearing the bansuri, I highly recommend it.

This is a very good two-disc CD. The bansuri-player (flute-player), the tabla-player (drummer) and the tanpura-player (drone-lute-player) all do a fantastic work. The drone is played with a fifth and an octave counted from the lowest tone. All this music is like a caress for my ears and my mind.
