Book Description

Arbitrage is the practice of taking advantage of a price difference between two or more markets, striking a combination of matching deals that capitalize upon the imbalance, the profit being the difference between the market prices. This is the complete, authoritative, and exhaustive manual outlining the Arbitrage business model. It has been compiled and made available to anyone interested in buying products to be resold online. In this book, Chris Green will give you the keys to the Arbitrage Kingdom with the mindset of unlimited opportunities and abundance and not one of scarcity. Empires are being built by using powerful new programs like ScanPower to source and evaluate items for resale. Pair this with Amazon's amazing fulfillment program called Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) to outsource the storage, shipping, and customer service of your items, and you have a completely scalable, nearly risk-free business model with a near-zero entry cost. The techniques described in this book can be used by anyone, anywhere to build a small side business or large empire. The only limit is you imagination.

This is my third Xmas selling on Amazon.com as an FBA seller and I learned a lot from Chris Green's book both when I was a beginner (the first version of his book) and now as an experienced seller. I still refer to it for strategy. One of the things I went through as a new seller was huge overwhelm. There's so much to learn! Amazon's Seller Central - if printed off - would likely be thousands of pages long. It is like the tax code. Chris helped me understand what was important in the sea of information.

Friends and family in the business call me often about the exact issue Chris addresses in this book which is, basically "will this sell on Amazon?" A lot of people start selling on Amazon and within a few weeks have a lot of business questions about margins and finding quality inventory. I recommend Chris' book as a graduate book in selling online. Once you understand the concept of how to sell successfully on Amazon, the other stuff like making a profit falls into place. There are a lot of FBA sellers on Amazon.com that don't understand arbitrage, nor do they understand Amazon's fees for its FBA services. I can tell by the prices they charge for their goods. They are literally selling themselves out of business as fast as they can. If I hadn't learned from Chris early on, I would have made a lot of mistakes. He shortened my learning curve considerably.

Chris has been selling online for many years and with Amazon since the beginning (or close to) of its FBA program and makes a lot of money doing it (I read his online postings, too). He started off in business selling tools to Home Depot and Loews for a manufacturer so it is not like he has an extraordinary background that is unapproachable for most people. He is very generous with his information.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chris has hit it out of the park with Arbitrage October 21, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Have been reading Arbitrage over the past few weeks in process of putting all the information I need to sell successfully on Amazon. I am specifically using FBA to list and sell used books and records but may very well expand my markets once I have learned more. Chris has very carefully detailed all the answers to my questions and the book is very well organized and clearly written to assist the new Amazon seller. Buy this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book got me excited about selling on FBA December 3, 2012
By Jill
I have been selling on eBay for about 8 years and was considering selling on Amazon. I was hesitant in making the switch because I was so comfortable with eBay. I read everything I could online and saw that someone recommended Chris Green's book. I bought the book and read it over the weekend. What I liked about this book was that he gave real examples - and was able to back it up with his own sales. It got me excited about online selling once again. Since reading his book, I have completely revamped my business plan - and I no longer purchase the items I used to purchase for eBay. I have since bought this book for 4 of my friends who are also now selling on Amazon via fba. Yes, much of the information is available elsewhere online - if you have the time to search through all of the various websites and blogs - and much of the data that is out there is inaccurate and out of date. I recommend this book to anyone considering selling on Amazon - either Merchant Fulfilled or Fulfilled By Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chris is Great November 21, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I read this book a few times on deployment and I have learned a lot. Even though I have not yet started with the process of selling on Amazon (because I just got back to the states) this book has helped me in the process of starting. It's packed full on information to get started.

Another really great thing, is Chris and his team have a great Facebook group to help you out along the way and even just started a livestream account to better teach you the tools and learn new and exciting stuff. Chris will even take time to reply to emails or questions you have for him, you can even CALL HIM! That shows how much he cares.

I would recommend this book any day of the week.

My intention is to write a review a little more informative than some of the others I have read.

I love Amazon. I have been buying from Amazon since '98 or '99. I buy many books (especially hard to find and out-of-print books) but also lots of other things, especially products I have come to like that I cannot seem to find locally anymore: guacamole mix, scented shoe liners, body wash, cinnamon tooth picks, facial serum and others. I have Amazon Prime, and as a Prime customer have a preference to buy from Amazon or FBA sellers over merchant fulfilled sellers. I have never, ever bought a thing on eBay.

I began my journey towards purchasing this book by considering selling handmade items on Etsy. As I was starting to organize a yard sale for my mother I realized I could also sell vintage items there too, and maybe I could supplement that with items I found while thrifting for myself. I started researching on the internet about selling online generally and stumbled across information about selling books on FBA. There is so much stuff out there about FBA, much of it affiliate marketing fluff, with referring link after referring link trying to get you to buy this book or that program and that is a real turnoff. There are a few folks around that give really good tips for free, including Mr. Green, but wading through all of that is time consuming. Which is fine if you have the time, and I did. I read lots of articles, watched YouTube videos and listened to some podcasts. Out of all of these things folks are shilling, I purchased this book at the reasonable price of about ten bucks. From Amazon. LOL.

Here in this Chris Green love-fest of reviews, many have said that this is a good book for the FBA beginner and veteran alike; I agree.

More About the Author

When Chris Green talks, FBA sellers listen.

For the first time, Chris Green has compiled the complete, authoritative, and exhaustive manual outlining the Arbitrage business model.

This is the BLUEPRINT for buying products to sell online for BIG PROFITS.

Since 1999, Chris Green has been doing Retail Arbitrage, the business of buying items at retail stores and selling them online for a profit. From humble beginnings selling wrestling action figures on eBay, he has since perfected this low-risk, high-margin business model now known as Retail Arbitrage.

Using innovative and powerful programs like Amazon's fulfillment program called Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA), sellers can now remove time and space scaling restrictions that would have previously restricted their businesses. Sellers also now have access to the most complete mobile pricing data using ScanPower for iPhone and Android. Information is power and the sellers with the best information will make the best buying decisions and will be able to capitalize on all of the opportunities around them.

Join Chris as he explains every detail of this fascinating low-risk, high-margin business including HOW and WHY FBA works, the dynamics of inefficient marketplaces, and the psychology of the Amazon customer.
